Yeah I’ve never understood why fans do that. When Spurs have lost top players in recent years I’ve never suddenly decided they weren’t that good or the team was better off without them.

Just updated my football ground map and up to 44 stadiums visited now though sadly only 35 of current 92.

I've just heard we've sacked our manager, so will go into the new season with a new gaffer.

 

Knowing some of our lot, they probably still do, whilst convincing themselves Werner will be a good permanent signing in the summer.

 

We've had the same. Nasri, Van Persie, Fabregas. All of those players were top class and there's no way they weren't a loss to us.

I know it stings when they leave, but saying they weren't as good as when they played for you is just sour grapes.

Declan Rice is 24 years old, already playing at the top level and he's had a brilliant debut season for us. Doing his defensive work as well as being a box to box MF and chipping in with goals and assists. He's still got his best years ahead of him too.

 

I’ve resigned myself to accepting Werner as a permanent signing. I think Ange likes him and Ange seems the sort who’s loyal to players.
