They don’t. That is one of the charges levelled at Man City and previously at Chelsea.
And why Newcastle have owners richer than the rest of the PL but cannot outbid teams due to FFP.

Cokeheads smashing coaches and away ends cost the club a fortune according to Baz. No chance they'll be doing it again.

According to Baz…That was the Baz that wrote the season before there has been an increase of trouble at football - particularly at the MKM. That would be the MKM that was voted best away trip in the Championship. Hardly any trouble or arrests and not exactly Elland Road, West Ham or a a host of other places But according to Baz…

According to Baz, who was told what happened by the club. Damage to one coach was around 40k apparently.

You arguing doesn't change the fact that Acun got his fingers burnt and won't be doing it again.

Don’t blame them for cancelling if there was damage to coaches. But I don’t take everything writes as gospel. £40,000 of damage on one coach would suggest it was virtually destroyed and not fit to be driven.

Just watched the match on the OWS, brilliant game, if only one of those two headers went in.

Considering it was 1904 club with a club employee nodding in agreement I have no reason to doubt it, but you realise the club have to pay for damage to away ends and concourses too, don't you? And retrospective fines for not controlling fan behaviour. So it wasn't just the coaches that added to the bill to the point it became unfeasible.

When it comes to the Hull Daily Mail and its journalists or journalists anywhere I find it hard to 100 % believe them as I have been victim to them making up a pure fabrication of a situation I was involved in. My mother was also interviewed the night the MKM was opened. They quoted her name then put completely different quotes from her interview. It’s what journalists do. Exaggerate.

It wasn't reported as an HDM story, was just a question on the podcast about the chance of free away coaches again - and that was the answer.

Like I say, a city employee didn't interject when Baz was explaining it, so I've no reason to doubt it and it wasn't done in a sensationalist way.

So, it wasn’t just one coach which had £40,000 worth of damage? Any figures for the retrospective fines? Do clubs get those for any uncontrolled fan behaviour and damage at the MKM.

Not sure I agree with this, Southampton apparently make £770k per game

Most of which is the chassis, engine, transmission and body. Knowing a few who used to work at Plaxtons supplying seating for coaches £40,000 would suggest every seat was destroyed along with the windows, luggage racks etc.
