Arsenal are sponsored by two dictatorships that torture, imprison and kill dissenters.
    Not one. Two.
They also pick a rapist in their team consistently.
    **** Arsenal.

And if the UK sponsors a football team, then that's a fine argument against that side.

Because if there is no control on what a team can spend someone like Abramovich can destroy the competitiveness of the league and ruin the other clubs chances in that league. Clubs need to do it out of their own resources which depends on their fanbase and income from it. Hence FFP hence Chelsea are under investigation. Hence City are under investigation, hence Forest were deducted points as were Everton.
    That all ruins the game.

And what about the century before that when sugar daddies did the same at Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal? You chased the dream and became a public company, talk about other clubs ruining football when yours sold it out ffs.

So you prefer a Russian gangster oligarch and you compare that to a public company quoted on the stock exchange? See how it ruins football.<laugh>

It is and has been for years now.

The illusion that it hasn't been a farmers league for years is down to klopp and Liverpool somehow keeping up with and competing against city ( although one out of 6/7 titles suggests otherwise).

Said it on the Prem board for years now and still get cry emojis and **** for it but i dont care. i see what i see and its bent the amount of decisions city get and this season has been beyond ridiculous, they aint even trying to hide it anymore.

So i say to all the city fanboys enjoy the next decade or two of city paying prem refs and skirting european bans and prem charges of cheating whikst sweeping up every cup and competition going along the way.

But at least it aint (insert anyone daring to compete with city here) winning eh... Yaay city

If it’s not going to be us I’d rather city win the next 10 in a row if it’s a choice between the usual big boys. Nothing against city really whereas can’t stand the others.

    Wake Up call mate.

City are one of the big boys. And them or their money and dodgy dealings are going nowhere soon.

Yeah I’m fully aware of that but if it’s a choice between them and the others then it’s city every time.

Because it was on a different level. When Jack Walker did it for Blackburn, they didn't pick all the best available players and pay them double the average salary of the rest of the league.

Jack Walker was also a Blackburn supporter trying to improve his local club.
He wasn't a dictator-adjacent mafioso trying to sportswash the blood off his hands.
It's fine to oppose both, but they're not the same.

And therein lies the direct comparison to ENIC. Whilst the way Joe Lewis amassed his fortune makes my toes curl, both he and Levy are lifelong Spurs fans from London and, as far as I know, haven't murdered anyone in the course of expanding their business interests.

Maybe United will beat Arsenal a few days before and the city game won’t become as vital.

As opposed to Abramovich who just wanted a way into the UK before he got murdered in Russia for stealing the peoples oil and gas . So buying Chelsea was better than falling out of a third floor window

Do United hate City more than Spurs hate Arsenal? Gameweek 37 full of moral dilemmas for both United and Spurs.

EDIT, only just realised it's a double gameweek for City and the spurs gameweek is midweek. Urgh.
