In fairness Ipswich keeper was terrible for hulls third goal. Had Meslier parried a ball that poorly we’d have slaughtered him
Meslier’s better than the Ipswich keeper. In fact he’s better than most keepers I’ve seen in this league.
It’s hard to argue with the point you made, I guess my post hinted as much but the reason I cut Farke some slack is in what other season has a team reached 90 points and not been automatically promoted? Another one for Aski I suppose
Thought I saw it mentioned that only once in many years had 93 failed to go up. We can still finish on that so hard to argue it’s been anything but a great season
Not been done in the Championship. Brighton failed to go up after amassing 89 points in 2015/16. It would be another unwanted record held by us.
Ticket situation pretty hopeless for next weekend. First time ever there could be upwards of twenty of us watching the Southampton game in a Leeds pub. Had Ipswich won last night there would have been any number available. All caused by zero ground development and zero support from club for overseas supporters clubs despite numerous emails
If Ipswich get a point at Coventry I think we’re done. Their last game is as close to a gimme in football as you’re likely to get. All goes well and I’ll be off to the con club. I blame myself for Friday, I watched the Boro game at the club but never watch the Friday matches as they don’t put the sound on.
Got a few mates coming over from Tallaght mate, they haven't got tickets either, they booked flights after being promised tickets but that's gone tits up now
Wait till Ipswich play coventry and if they win their last game is Huddersfield at home whp are relegated. So you may get a ticket yet.
But after last nights result we’ll still be mathematically in it so won’t help ticket situation. This experience may impact travelling plans going forward. Don’t mind not getting ticket for this but wouldn’t be great going forward
Good effort Wakey, you just missed Fat Franks Derby for the full house. We are one of 4 clubs to have qualified for the play off's on 5 occasions without ever winning a final. The other 3 clubs are Bristol City, Wigan and Hartlepool.
maybe the reason why 4 clubs have been able to amass so many points is that the standard of the other teams was terrible. This ‘we are unlucky there were other good teams’ argument is a bit one eyed/simplistic In my view.
If ipswich beat coventry then all they need is a draw last game. Can see a few leeds fans not bothering in that situation.
Interesting reading about points stats. The most incredible stat is that we are the first team in EFL history to rack up 90 points or more in consecutive seasons!
