Longman's been flying for Millwall recently and has 4 goal involvements in 5. He's been through a real sticky patch but there was always a decent player in there so interesting to see what happens in pre season
I've always quite liked Longman, he's versatile hard working and not as bad as he's been painted. If we sign better then fair enough, good back up if not.
Agree on Longman. He also has that unpredictable nature where he might smash one in from 30 yards out of nowhere which is a valuable thing to have in the squad.
His first year with us, he got 4 goals and 4 assists and this year he's got 3 goals and 3 assists in 1500 mins. That's really decent numbers for someone who doesn't cost all that much and is still only 23
If you compare Longman to Lokilo, who we effectively replaced him with in the squad, it's a bit of a no brainer.

Jarvis was actually on the bench on Friday, he came on after an hour. Mills started but was subbed off at half time for Bohemians.
You're right missed that, seems odd he has been their best player and not to start seems odd. They have lost 2 in a row, so after a good start, they seem to be dropping off.
It doesn’t seem to have worked out for him, but I think loans have a far higher failure rate than success, even with players that go on to have strong careers. Hopefully it doesn’t hinder him too much, he’s at an age now he needs to start making impressions on the first team if he’s to make it at this level with us.
