Agree with you on the toilet issue tm. That happened to us years ago. ****er would not let my wife in just to use the loo even though I would be waiting outside for her. Spend twice as much time in the car than you do watching the game. They are ****ing jobsworths.
That is ok to a point but where is the advantage when Philogene had 3 Ipswich players surrounding him and they easily took the ball from him. Where is the advantage in that? Bloke is a ****er. I think I'll like my own post
And well done for getting up there to support in person. Leicester and back is a long enough journey for me.
It's possible for us all to agree that we've improved lately, without saying nonsense like that. Shots on target up to and including that Easter weekend averaged 4.5, afterwards 5.8. Definite improvement, but no need to rewrite history.
Where can Ajun take us. I still dream a 30k stadium and a competitive premier league team. I’m sure he dreams the same.
A truly amazing night of football, credit to both teams who showed to the world the high quality of Championship football. No quarter given by either side, and in the end a fair result with the draw. After all the debate about Allsop I was so pleased for him that he had a fine game, and was my MOTM. Other than that, difficult to single out any player as the whole team put a shift in, bearing in mind we had a 3 game week, whereas Ipswich only had the one. Bringing on De Lap in the 2nd half emphasised again showed how much we have missed him, and we can only speculate where we might be if he had stayed fit. Ohio is turning out to be a super sub and cult hero, and I really like what I have seen so far, would love to get him on a permanent. Finally, it was great to see how many stayed back to applaud the players, owner, coaching staff etc, what an amazing job Acun/Tan has done to give us our club back, the atmosphere during the game and afterwards epitomises the good feeling about the place now. Still in with an outside chance of making the play offs, I never imagined a few games back it would go down to the wire.
Honestly what a game Two best managers in the league Absolute quality football Delap and ohio we want you to stay
Brilliant send off....tear jerking stuff, and I thought I was a hard man.....I never cried when watching Little House on the Prairie.
And our aggregate league home gates for the season exceeded 500,000 last night - first time that has happened since 1966/67.
If that’s really the last home match of the season, then the adrenaline from it will see me through the next three months. Great stuff.
Purely in the interests of balance: This happened to me a couple of years ago and the lady on the door let me into The Dugout when she saw me hopping from foot to foot. It was about 2 hours before kickoff though - I was really early. Maybe they don’t use common sense and discretion if it’s busier?
maybe its recency bias, but this season is far more enjoyable than our 2016 promotion season the whole vibe around the club having local lads playing ****ing love it i said in the first half, i think rosie can take us to ipswich level hes still not even 2 years in as a manager
I think 16 was more enjoyable on the pitch, not so much off it, but certainly our best season in the last 8 years, not incl L1 promotion as none of us could fkn go! A weird season tbh, to come 7th (in all likelihood) with over 70 points is a great achievement given where we were last year and the year before, but to do this having only won 8 at home has left a lot of us with a kind of sour taste...I think if our home and away from had been reversed and we'd won 11 at home 8 away then a lot of us would prob have been more positive across the season.
