Yeah I did contemplate Bradley RB, TAA and Mac in middle and szobo jota diaz behind Nunez. I think this is where excitement of new manager new systems new styles come in. No one knows what’s happening and eveything is up for grabs.

It's about what's the right thing to do.

I know szobo at 6 would be a disaster.

Trent at 6? I don't think he's got the head for it.

If it was a 433 still then imo

    Alisson
    Bradley rcb vvd robertson
    Trent 6 macca
    Szobo jota nunez

Konate for me has gone massively down in terms my opinion of his character. Quansah could be that rcb but needs a year. Gomez won't be thet person imo.

When arsenal have rice and city have rodri we really need to go find a player there with thst level of dynamic play as well as defensive solidity.

If its 4231 I just don't know about trent but would see him back at rb and not too happy.

Yeaha proper dynamic athletic 6 in the middle to bully and be the muscle to Macs craft would be an ideal signing.

I think TAA as a double pivot is acceptable in certain games. Games where going to dominate it’ll be interesting see what new manager does with him. His ability on the ball is 2nd to none and see the ability he brings going forward. It’s about getting that balance.

Feyenoord win more turnovers high up the pitch than any other side in top 5 leagues and the Dutch league - were 2nd. So can imagine he’ll be just as damaging of those front players and it’s probably why was selected as the club have already got players who they believe can play that way.

When you look at all the stats like number of high turnovers, turnovers leading to shots. Passes per defensive action, where defensive line are, they’re all super similar to us so shouldn’t need to be a huge transition. More just a few tactical tweaks

Apparently Feyenoord's Lutsharel Geertruida was in the crowd for today's match. He's a RB that we were linked with last summer. May just be a coincidence, but who knows?

Given the fact we already have 2 I highly doubt we would be publicly saying look he's the players who's replacing you lads sat in a stand when you've 3 games to play still.

Rumours Slot is to be 'Head Coach' rather than Manager.

Guess that means he'll have less say in transfers than Klopp

Thought Klopp was a coach rather than manager, last, that's was the case when he first joined

It appears Klopp's official title is 'Manager'

I wouldn't be too pushed by titles.

Nobody should be buying players the person who selects the team doesn't want.

If they are it'll end in tears.

Same as a manager wanting players from prior club.

I would suggest that Slot would have input into transfers, asked what he needs, who he likes etc etc, but the ultimate decisions will rest with Edwards and his team.

Has felt Klopp fought against that model and had a bigger role in identify targets, if not the money side, in recent years.

It won't though... or should not as edwards is off buying clubs

We are handling lfc future to Hughes and slot. The two most important factors imo are character and reliability.

We have to keep buying strong solid character and marry that wil fitness

We got that badly wrong with thiago who everyone knew was a fitness nightmare.

Diaz imo is perfect even if he's not delivering 100%

Konate has gone so far down in my estimation lately that I wonder about character now as well as fitness. I said when we bought him that hip injuries are a big no no but he is a.monster when bothered. He looks totally not arsed now.

Don't think Klopp ever had an issue with that approach, it was the refusal to break the system in certain circumstances. We went a few windows without many players coming in because the right player wasn't available, I think Klopp would have preferred to compromise on the system and bring one in that best fits rather than awaiting a perfect fit.

The Council has cancelled the bus parade.

It was organised in January after Klopp made his announcement and we hadn't yet won anything so nothing to do with being a trophy parade. The word is Klopp didn't want it. I'm sure had we won more, it would have gone ahead because you more or less have to if you win big. I'm a bit relieved because I was thinking of not walking up to watch it anyway regardless of what we'd won. I don't want specifically to see Klopp one last time. It will be what it will be.

    Good.

It would be highly.embaressing to parade a leavue cup and klopp about. None the least for klopp himself.

Every rival fan would be laughing at us.

If we on the europa it would be on. No excuse for not still being in that. Absolute joke defending by left fulls.

If we won the league of course it would be on.

As neither is happening we have no right to think a parade is sensible or merited.

The 60k in the ground for wolves will clap klopp and matip off.

Agree with your post though, glad it's cancelled <ok>
