Yes he was. Not his fault when he didn't always get the help he needed, but that doesn’t distract from how well he played.
I'll tell you what else I enjoyed about yesterday (apart from great performance).. We appeared at times to master sh**housery! Dont like it when other teams do it to us but as far as i'm concerned the hoops can do what they like
Oh and by the way good luck for the run in and when the time comes that your manager decides to let him go for some sexy unpronounceable kid from Brazil nobody has ever heard of but sets the Tractor boys £20 million (plus a few shiny gleaming new tractors) send him round this way. He and Marti are well suited. He has unfinished business goals here.
Haven’t seen a lot of love for Jack Colback last night. Thought it was his best game for us. Was everywhere, getting his tackles in, and keeping us ticking over. Didn’t waste a ball and my MOTM
Also love the way Marti is so inclusive in his celebrations. Everyone got hugged! He's a motivator as well as a good tactician.
There was a period where I thought Colback looked a bit like one of the mercenaries of old but he has played really well more recently. He's still getting himself booked for the stupidest of reasons though, back to back petulant yellows in the last two.
Type of player we lacked so often early season, adds a bit of 'bite' to midfield. We're getting the blend right at long last...
Watch me rise up and leave, all the ashes you made out of me – Report - Queens Park Rangers News | Loft For Words (fansnetwork.co.uk)
Excellent report....exhausted just reading that. Been looking forward to Clives report all weekend. Hope he's right, and this is just the start...
Shame he didn’t credit his little Shawshank Redemption joke to its authors on The Thick of It. I’m sure he just forgot, so I’ll do it for him.
Looking at those player ratings we should be sponsored by Bet888. Great report and agree with Steels, exhaustingly funtastic.
