Perhaps ego Klopp should've kept his mouth shut months ago when he made sure it was the Klopp show for the rest of the seaon by saying he was leaving. I was going to say at about half 2 that I had a sneaky feeling about Sheff United today. Big send off today for some of their players you'd think today and I'd imagine if Southgate is away after the Euros that the FA will go after Howe.
I'm not sure Klopp's ego was the issue as much as their squad getting weaker over the last couple of years and those older players being burned out to some extent. Key players like Salah, Van Dijk and Robertson have been a shadow of themselves for a while now. Henderson, Fabinho, Mane were key losses over the last couple of years without replacements and even Firmino, Lovren, Milner and Wijnaldum were dependable when Liverpool were winning the league, but were replaced by less reliable performers. They need a complete rebuild at this point. I doubt they'll get that £100m+ bid from Saudi for Salah this summer but they should take £60m+ if it comes. It's time to sort the Alexander-Arnold situation too. His contract is up next year. So he's either they put their faith in him as the future of the club or they move him on. Then personally, I'd accept decent offers for any of Nunez, Diaz, Gakpo, Gravenberch, Konate and Tsimikas
Like to see Barnsley or Bolton win the play offs the supporters have to gan to Portsmouth, plymouth, Swansea, Cardiff maybe Soton some long treks next season, at the minute not Sheff U ! Norwich throwing promotion away.
