We’re wearing the all-amber away kit. First time we’ve worn our away kit at home in the league since the 2-1 win against Cardiff in the 21/22 season.
Probably because our home kit is quite dark, unnecessarily so if you ask me, especially from the back. Ipswich’s home kit is dark blue, their away kit is all-orange and their third kit is white shirt with black shorts. All three of their kits clash to varying degrees with our home kit. The all-amber away kit doesn’t clash as much with their home kit or third kit though. EFL have changed the rules in the last couple of years to allow home teams to wear change kits if it’s better for the players and officials to distinguish. It’s also taken into consideration colour-blindness amongst fans and players.
