What like he did in 95, when he cleared out a shed laod of experienced and great footballers to make way for untried talented youngsters.

No offence Stretty you need to get realistic and even Ferguson stated that those days are over. The risks of taking a gap year and not finishing in the top 4 is so huge its unthinkable. The club can only take minimal risks with implementing few players at a time. This season we have seen a bigger role of Rafeal and have seen the likes of Hernandez and Smalling racking up games. Next season we will see more of pogba and Cleverly. Morrison is a big if

Hernandez doesn't get in the first XI regularly. Saha struggled to get in the team at times. Even Veron and going back Kanchelskis got left out. How good were they? There are countless other good players we've had that haven't been first choice.

No you, as per usual have missed the point completely and then turned the conversation onto something different. Yes we are top but we are still far from a great team. Your a bit young so let me remind you of something. He tore up the 94 winning double team, a team that was far supeior to this team in pretty much every aspect to make way for talented youngsters who were good enough. If our current set were good enough to do that, make no mistake, top or not, he would have a clear out to accomada

Stretty you are guy who does not take into account many things before you write. This premier league is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH stronger than the 90s and this non arguable. The team might not be great buts its good enough to win the league or at least challenge. You can't expect amazing Utds sides every year. Support the team and stop moaning. Arsenal team of 06/07 was dreadful but you would not mention that would you? We are top of a poweful league and thats never a bad thing.

If Spurs can beat Milan who are 1st and Man Utd and Chelsea get to numerous semis and Arsenal beat Barca, then being top of this league is a great achievement. I am very happy with how some players have improved such as Nani. Valencia return will be great as well. Rafeal and Smalling are coming in as well and doing very well and Hernandez has been a great signing. I expect a few more young players to be embedded slowly. In my eyes only 2 signings are needed in the summer. A good goal keeper and a expericned central midfielder. Carrick should stay so should Anderson and Fletcher and Cleverly should be promoted and Pogba given a chance. A new top central midfielder to take Scholes place if he calls it a day. That is all I hope for. Maximum of 50m spent in the summer to keep the club stable to.

Saha struggles with injury, when he got a proper decent run he took van nistelrooys place and did enough to make ruud surplus to requirments. Veron struggled but that was not hsi fault. Fergie didnt play him anything like his best position of deep lying playmaker and instead chose to play him everywhere else. Not his fault. Hernandez cant even break the first team with rooney in the worst form of his life. Not saying he isnt quality but if fergie deemed him first team 11 material he would be there.

Why wouldnt I mention that? Yes they were very much terrible. But this is a different team. Adn as for not wanting to miss out on the champions league, wenger has put his faith in kids and they havent misssed out. The point I amm on the whole mnaking is that if your good enough your old enough. Adn that you nolhman talk wet.

And dont you dare have the audacity to tell me that I do not think before I post or to support the team. This is a guy who reguarly slates rooney for everything under the sun, and who includes the words it is our destiny to lose the title or to lose the game. Your a bleeding idiot of the highest calibre.

I find it amazing how people can rave about such an "amazing" Arsenal team while slating an "awful" Man Utd side who sit above them.

Your point about Hernandez is stupid. He is being bedded in the right away, he came straight from mexico so why should he start every game? It will take him 2 years to be ready imho. He is not ready for starting 11 on a game to game basis. The team we have will get much better but you have to patient as it will take time.

Berbnanidez Its cause they are competing for the title which is rare for a wengar side of late but they still have march to come and that is usually when there title hopes end.

Were not saying they are amazing. But some of their players most definatley are. And they are not that far off us and have a much younger team. Anyway have you been paying attention, were talking about the younger players, keep up for god sake.

Why should it take two bloody years for him to settle may I ask? Why should we always expect to wait so long? This is an international class striker who speaks fluent english and he is 22, so he aint that young, why do you expect him to take 2 years? Where is the logic?

Because Mexico football is very different to english football. You throw him in and he has a few bad games fans like you will get on his back as usual just like fans have with Evans. Evans is a very good player in bad form. He has played great games against Inter, Chelsea, Arsenal etc yet now he is now he is not good enough. Thank goodness Ferguson is a manager here. We have some very talented player like Nani who is better than your wayne easily better and always has been. It was a consistency issue and now he is has matured he is by far the better talent. Valencia is coming back and he is very good to. Smalling will get better like Rafeal and Fabio has a chance to. You just need to be patient.

Yes evans is a good player. Injuries have sadly affected him but I am sure that in time he will be the defender he once was.

Nani only this season has been better than rooney. Rooney has been doing it in the premiership for 9 years, Nani has been doing it for one and a half. Dont embarass yourself by saying he has always been better than him.

Valencia is stable who will chip in with goals and assists but will never be a world beater, not everyone has to addmitadley but his talents are based on working hard and a great cross, not on sheer footballing ability.

Mexican football may be very different but hernandez has shown he is capable in the premiership and at international level. He isnt a regular starter and my point is if he was good enough he would be, he has clearly adapted well, but your point about two years is bloody ridiculous.
