    It's on now.

They showed the Rooney kicking incident but they didn't make a fuss out of it and claimed that he was just trying to get the ball. Thought it was a bit violent myself.

And how did that goal go in?

    Heh.

They said you played well defensively despite the lucky penalty and they thought that Rooney was going for the ball <doh>

At least someone else realises that the 'lesser' teams get almost no praise on MotD. Rooney's kick out against Colo was just another example that he is a violent thug not fit for the Premier League.

I don't know why I watch MOTD, it winds me up no end. Giggs v Krul, how, how, ****ing how can the commentator only mention Giggs' flick?! Was Krul's amazing save not worth a mention? Yet De Gea makes the save from Colo and the commentator actually ejaculates. You can even hear it.

The way Colo stood up and shrugged it off made me respect him even more though

I actually thought Rooney went for the ball. Slow mo just makes it look worse. If we had a player sent off for similar I'd be pretty annoyed.

The second one was a furious kick after the ball had gone though. A scouse is what Rooney is.

Was it me, or did Rio go in 'studs up' ? That's the only way I could have seen the linesman give that penalty.

First one was going for the ball, second kick seemed to be out of frustration....something he seems to be doing a lot lately

Nah, his feet were on the ground (studs down). His foot was nowhere near the player anyway.

I think the way Ben Arfa went off it after the Rooney incident, was because of the way Rooney was kicking like **** and had he kicked him he could have done some serious damage to collo's leg.

Or more like, how there should of been a pen at the other end for the exact same thing and they didn't give it.

I think Rooney was going for the ball but it was pretty reckless all the same. If a Man U player had been kicked in a similar manner the Man U players would have all been around the referee waving imaginary red cards.

there was no reason to kick anywhere near as forcefully as he did though. Can't see anything but bad intentions there myself
