if I was Amorim I’d have said, you want to talk to me about replacing Moues, then you can fly to Portugal, not my job to come to you.
Unlucky in the end but a massive congratulations to this Coventry City team that came from 3-0 down to force penalties against Manchester United. please log in to view this image
Someone said recently that Arsenal seem to play sides just at the right time (for Arsenal) When I saw Palmer was out it reminded me,although Chelsea have been a **** up all season
chelses were alright having to sell a few players for a shot at europa leagie next year and next ffp bit the second the lost the fa cup their season needed and I sincerely doubt they will turn up at all now. the conference is a giant waste of time in their heads ino.
Weird thing is, last two times they've played City they probably should have won, if they had a striker that could score. This does feel like that they don't want to be in Europa Conf next season, so have just given up for the season. I expect them to spiral in the last few games, might even finish out of the top10.
Well. We're definitely not going to beat Arsenal on GD now. . So now we need them to lose points. Not beating Sheffield by three or four more goals wouldn't have done it either... So that point is moot. With only 4 games left, its certainly not guaranteed they will drop points... But fingers crossed and push them as long as we can.
I doubt it will. we blew it v palace really. but who was to know arse would lose to villa at home. let's just get the next 2 games out of the way and reassess. 4th is the first target and the sooner its won out the better. all 3 sides went out of Europe shockingly so its changed the scene utterly. we are the least fit due to injuries and the least in form. we need a massive favour in the form of a loss for city so really all we can do is focus on beating Everton and west ham before they play again forget arsenal, its not in their hands either.
Brighton being too clever for their own good. At least it's considerate of them to think of my well-being - if they'd won tonight I might just have slid back into thinking there was a glimmer of hope...
And this is why us and Arsenal losing the same weekend basically handed the title to City. They ain't losing these remaining games, this is what they're best at, once they're ahead in the race they know how to stay ahead.
I honestly don't know what people think is going to happen with these games. holding hope city lose or whatever. the second we drew to utd is was out of our hands but we could keep city behind us with 100% record the second we lost to palace the leavue was over. we've not lost to Everton as well. forget about it. I would rather arsenal win it than city but in reality they won't. my main hope is to have a decent after the game send off for klopp at anfield v wolves. I am hoping city and arsenal tonk spurs as I have zero confidence we have the form or legs to beat spurs or villa.
