If this is true, then it means the clause expires before the end of this years FFP period doesn't it? I doubt many clubs will have left themselves the remaining headroom to be able to go and spend £100million without breaching FFP. PSG maybe.

I can't see him staying if he has to play with Longstaff next time him much longer.. I could see he was getting frustrated with him last night. Avoiding passing to him and taking it off his toes.

He must be aware most these players are not his level at this point.

The report all suggests his wage goes up significantly if the release clause isn’t met.

Nothing anyone can do if one of the big clubs wants him they'll simply come and take him.

For a price that would allow us to really push on. Win-win.

But is it that you rate Longstaff more than I do, or Joelinton less?

Joelintion less. Think he works for us but he looks very clumsy on the ball and gets caught far too easily. You can tell he’s not a natural midfielder. His main quality is his strength.

Depends we spent over 100 million on Barnes Hall and Livramento and the manager only uses one.

It could go well but no guarantee.

Are you are he was always a midfielder growing up? He's excellent in that position he does it all. He's not just strong either he's the most skillful player at the club.

    New approach. Sticking to facts.

Obviously, only one of Hall, Tino and Barnes has played this season.

    Not a good start.

He's been highly effective and that's the key point.
