You have to applaud Vettel for that lap. Dissapointed Hamilton is fourth but wet conditions (hopefully) tommorow will spice things up a bit.

Spain: KERS failure, losing 0.5 seconds.
UK: Car regulations being changed every minute messing up with the setups.
Germany: Driving style didn't suit the cold weather, where Lewis and Webber hardly suffered from it.
Korea: Team Lewis were just plain quicker.

    Nice one BLS...

So Rosberg's Q2 lap was good enough to beat Alonso lap in Q3, although Ted did mention that Rosberg has a fully dry set-up. It's easy to imagine Button taking second and Alonso taking 3rd/4th on lap one.

If it is wet, I really hope they don't start under the safety car.

Let it rain, and let loose the dogs of war for the last race of the season.

I went to work and missed the session, was MSC on mediums in Q2, and did he not set a time in Q3...?

    No problems in Q1.

In Q2 Nico set a lap 1 tenth of Vettel to put him P2. Micheal was late going out but soon found himslef battling to go into Q3. Luckily it was enough

In Q3 Nico went out first and did a slow first lap to bring the tyres in slowly. Micheal went out in last 2 mins or so on meduim tyres just to set sector times hoping it would get him ahead of Senna and Sutil, but they set laptimes so Micheal starts P10 due to saving tyres and Nico a solid P6.

What if rains for frick sake.. he is taking a gamble.
And he will have to get in-front of a couple of novices as well as Massa (who has lost his mind this season).
    + He has saved tyres.
+ If it rains he has a chance of doing really well.
    - He has to overtake 3 or 4 people to max the Mercs potential.
    - It could rain and ruin his (tyre saving) strategy.

No idea how this is going to go, cheers Jarel for replying... Nice one

“The forecast says there is a high probability for rain during the race” said Michael after qualifying. “With this in mind, we have kept all of our options open for tomorrow and we had a strategic approach to qualifying today. Still we need to find out why we weren’t able to match our times from this morning. There will be a lot of data checking now, so that tomorrow it will be very different and we can attack for some points.”

I smell cars set up for changeable conditions. if the McLarens are slow in a straight line, they have to be expecting rain, and therefore running much more downforce.

So Rosberg blew Schuey away - not unexpected.

Only in Q2 (where the priority is getting to Q3).

In Q3 where is really matters, Rosberg choked and Schumacher didn't set a lap time - so I don't see how Schuey was blown away.

I do not think Rosberg choked, he probably just wanted to set a fast lap time without taking too much out of his tryes and 6th on the grid is higher than where the Merc should be.
