Of course we'd like to finish strong, but it was unlikely we'd get first before last night, I thinks it's as near to impossible now as it can be before actually being impossible. It's a strange situation really; very little to play for and a new era to start in the summer. We're basically in limbo for the next 3-4wks
Absolute ****ing limp gimp at defending his back post, and always has been. He's not small either (5'11"?), yet Andy Robb (5'7"?) always manages to jump into bigger forward and/or distract them and make things difficult. Really, really poor with shades of what happened against Mitrovic at Fulham for one example, though there's many more. Clyne used to good at getting in big forwards way too. Yes, I know there'll always be examples of fullbacks being bullied by 6-foot-plus strikers, but with trent you just KNOW every time he'll be rinsed. Pathetic.
He's clearly not a defender, never really has been. When Bradley is fit again, TAA should be moved to a midfield role, his passing and general style of play is far more suited to CM. Always thought this is an example of Klopp's stubbornness, not moving Trent to CM.
Best avoid Liverpool town centre on Sunday as it will be Everton's open top bus parade after they have finally beaten a Klopp LFC team at Goodison
We've been watching the lad play for years now, we already know he's terrible at defending set pieces
He was not the only one last night, we hardly won a single header in our own penalty area, or theirs either. Some of that is down to simple will to win the ball. In fairness, Tarkowski blocked Virgil off when he was moving to clear that ball for their second goal, the ref was a plonker.
Apparently Klopp wouldn't bring Danns on as he said the Everton defenders would be too physical for him.
Instead we stuck we Salah who probably had less touches than either GK and Nunez who couldn't find the goal unless with it's with his arse
No excuses for a lousy performance, but I was frustrated at Everton flopping at every opportunity and the ref buying it so easily.
It was such a big event for EFC fans they have started selling commemorative keyrings, as below please log in to view this image
