Great idea Heidi. Could have done with this in place about 7 years ago when I was up in Stirling, I went over to the Raploch area to try to see where Billy was raised. Sadly the house, where my hero grew up, no longer exists. Best wishes and hope you’re successful. MOT

Thank you. It's taken five years to get to this point and I only joined the group a couple of years ago due to Billy being my hero. It was precisely because of what you found, his house is no longer there although we are trying to get a blue plaque in place, that the quest for Billy to have a memorial started. The fundraising has now started and there has been a lot of interest so fingers crossed we get Billy the recognition he deserves north of the border.
