Referee's been poor, giving things that are way too soft. Wouldn't be so bad if he was doing it both ways but we're not getting them, Everton are
Once again, playing really well. Create bucket load of chances, forward just massively out of form and can’t convert and then 2 mistakes at the back (TAA missing his header & montage taking it off someone’s toe to tee up braithwaite) and were behind. Doesn’t help the free kick came from a bother tackle and a dive, think that’s 2 absolute dives the refs fallen for so far which isn’t helping as plays right into Everton’s game plan. Carry on, more of the same though, created enough chances to be 3-1 up
Everton players are going down, Liverpool players arnt. He's given some soft ones, but he's not been bad. Everton have took advantage, we've wandered round with our thumb lodged firmly up our arse. This performance is nothing to do with the ref
Disgraceful performance so far. Can't believe we're still picking Salah and Nunez, both have done nothing to even warrant coming off the bench. Not sure Nunez will survive under a new manager. 2 years in and he's not shown much improvement. Still all over the place
Agreed. Bit scrappy at the start but we've taken control and we're creating chances. Unfortunately, we've got three forwards that need several chances to score. We need to stop crossing it in every time though; they're very good in the air, we're not going to score like that.
Salah is really poor tonight, shots, passes general play. We still created good chances but we can’t finish
We've been absolute gash until the last 10 minutes. Bothered are arses after they scored, but couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo. We will start the second half all fire, run out if ideas and maybe get a lucky goal to finish 1 all.
genuinely would have given Danns a go weeks ago. Nunez is just absolutely piss poor for weeks and weeks now, pinging balls through and they bounce off his shins, tries to dribble and just falls over. It’s just not good enough, over and over again. Getting tired of it
If we where one nil up, his performance wouldn't have been noted. It's an average performance. No point blaming the ref, for the teams ineptitude
I wonder how long it will be until this is the majority attitude, he's surely testing people's patience. Causing chaos is all very well, but if he can't control, shoot or run with the ball it's a bit pointless
The performance has been good. Gave Everton a goal from a couple lucky deflections and some iffy defending, otherwise created 3 huge chances that should really be putting away, dominating the ball. More of the same 2nd half
Yeah lobbing crosses in isn’t going to do much. If going to cross has to be from the byline and pulled back or low and hard.
What's frustrating is we have several players that like to slow the play down; Robbo, VVD, Trent, AMC and Salah all do it. The ones that do "attack first" don't have an end product; Diaz, Nunez, Zobo and Jones Hopefully, we'll see Everton retreat as they tire and will take advantage
