Will be interesting to see what RM does after the shambles of the last 2 games. He says he will only pick players who want to run for each other, who have the desire to win etc etc, yeah heard it all before. If he did that most of the U21 lads best get ready for Saturday.
To me you have to put out the play off team on Saturday then rest as many as you ca away to Leeds.
Think we need a bit of experience so controversial I know but I’d try Stephen’s with Bednarek and give THB a rest.
You can’t play Aribo and Rothwell in midfield together, has to be Downes, Smallbone and probably Aribo so would definitely rest these 3 against Leeds as this is where the games will be won and lost as last night proved as we were over ran time and time again.
Drop Brookes and possibly A Armstrong. I’d even think of giving Meghoma a chance to make the LB position for the rest of the season. Any way like I say, I’d go strong on Saturday and big rest against Leeds

He should play 4-2-3-1, like he should have done all season. Fast transition. Less cocking about at the back. Protected defence.

    McCarthy
    KWP THB Bednarek Manning
    Downes Charles
    Armstrong Smallbone Edozie
    Adams

But it's too late for that level of sense now. Or is it?

I would actually take advantage of the fact these games don’t matter to slap the lads and drop half of them for the kids. Get Meghoma, Sam Amayo, Gomes and Dibling starting. Absolutely drop the useless loans. Tell them if they can’t fight for the shirt they don’t play.

I would do thatfor the Leeds game but would want to put out the play off team for our last home game in front of the home fans to try and get a bit of positivity back then rest most away to Leeds. Though I think out of all of them Meghoma has the chance to be first choice left back going forward? Pretty disappointed that some of the youngsters have been given more chances as the senior pros flatter to deceive so many times

They should have had more minutes before now. But what do I, those in the stadium and watching on TV or online know.

Be interesting to see how RM is in the press conference this week.
Will Adam Blackmore and Alfie House go easy on him or ask a few tough questions?

Finally someone else who agrees. The amount of times last night that the commentators went on about how excellent he has been this season, probably based purely on the fact that they looked at the top scorers table just before the match, was unbelievable. I honestly struggle to see what he brings to the team. He can't play CF as he is not strong enough on the ball and he can't play on the wing as he has hardly any pace and can't beat the full-back. His finishing is pretty poor as well and don't get me started on the amount of pot-shots he takes from outside the box and just hits the defender on the arse...!!

IMG_7539.jpeg Think this shows where our main problem is. Can’t have a set up that concedes this many goals if you want promotion.
