Mobile phones don't make good kindling Rooch, and I shudder to think what they will be like with rabbit ****e all over them
Ah,just a guess,forget it,thought you might be someone I knew from my past.....enjoy the coast,...whereabouts?
About half a mile inland from Cresswell, you were close though, I passed my driving test in Hexham, in 1974
That confirms it,( not that it needed any confirmation ),....the lad I knew would have passed his test at least a 3 or 4 years before that...1970?......at Gateshead, same as me. January test....snow and ice all over those hilly inclines....got through though, first time pass ! Mind you, starting to find driving a bit more difficult at the minute. PS: Sorry to digress from the Thread!
I hired a big six bedroom place out in Ellington for my wife’s big birthday in February. What a fantastic coastline up there!
I'm trying to think which one that would be Somb? Beautiful area, we are fortunate to live so close to both coast and country.
About two hundred yards from the Plough. We fell in lucky with the weather at the time, spent two hours walking along the beach both days, towards druridge bay. We’ll definitely go back for a weekend sometime this year. Not staying at the big house though, cost a fortune for three nights https://www.waterside-cottage.co.uk/gallery/ Apologies for the derail.
Down by the burn? If so I think I know which one it is. My son in law knows the bloke who owns the houses down there.
There’s a big pond at the bottom of the garden? You can’t see the house from the road, it’s hidden by trees. It was a woman I dealt with when I booked it, can’t remember her name. Nice pub, The Plough.
