It would be a waste of time me standing as a MP anyway, because I would openly put taxes up, and that would just piss people off. You want a better NHS, you can have it, you want more social housing, you can have it, you want a better asylum system you can have it, just don't cry when I raise taxes to fund it. Oh and I'd get rid of any management culture in the NHS....so hopefully save some pennies there. Anyway I've digressed now...
I'd be with you - provided I get to choose where my taxes get spent - NHS, Education, Social Welfare / Community essential services and yes, a portion to the armed forces - but NOT Nuclear deterrents - no amount of deterrent will save us if some fooker launches a nuclear strike - and if anybody did, the Yanks have enough retaliatory stuff to ensure the world gets ended ... should be no need for Private Medical Care or Private schooling - every human on these Isles deserves equal life chances and health care ... Back in my late 20s played in a European Football Tournament in Copenhagen - was chatting to a barmanl, amusing old fella, who was complainingg about the high personal tax rates in Denmark.... but his last comment, made with a shrug, was pretty mind blowing - to paraphrase "... still, on the good side, nobody has to wait for an operation in Denmark.." Very different to us ...
So, if you're in Europe and can't afford airfare to Rwanda but really want to go... Cheaper just to go to Britain first and let them pay to fly you to Rwanda. Any chance of first class tickets?
You can sit up front with the pilot, Captain Rishi ... but the stewardesses Suella and Priti ... are right munters ...
Thats because it has **** all to do with morality and is all to do with supporting those who will prop up our global political agendas. Russia and Palestine are pretty much the complete opposite to us in a political sense. The leaders of both countries want to see our way of life toppled and in Palestines case, all of us dead and/or enslaved. I have no sympathy for either of them. In my view a regime that murders people for being gay, and builds their bases and weapons storage facilities under schools and hospitals so they cannot be bombed without taking hundreds of children or ill patients with them, is always wrong, even when they are right, they are wrong. So Israel can do whatever the **** they like to them, as far as I am concerned. I have no horse in this race. The jews biggest transgression, if you can call it that, is having too much money. So do I back the greedy expansionist country that, at worst, will stiff me with a **** interest rate on my mortgage, or the country that wants Sharia Law and would correctively r@pe my daughters and cut off my head in the town square? Bit of a no brainer really.
lol wtf has Bangladesh got to do with anything? Half my friends are Banglas! Though I do find it funny that most of them run, or work at, "Indian" restaurants
Muslim buddy ... really just making the point that not all Muslims are 'strict' and want to impose Sharia Law on us ... One of my middle daughters best mates is a Palestinian girl that she was at school with ... lovely kid, very westernised in terms of fashion sense, hair etc ...but still 'a believer' faith wise - she shared pictures of her aunt's place in Gaza, it was in a Northern Coastal town and it was spectacularly beautiful - will see if I can get a pic - it doesn't exist anymore - the town - not just the family villa- and members of the family were killed too as they were following the directive to head South etc ... the people there were not 'Hamas' supporters - just ordinary people living in a town where they've always lived getting on with pretty mundane ordinary lives - albeit in what looked like a beautiful place ... that's really the point I'm trying to make ...
Not sure if it's still true, but back in the 80s the vast majority of 'Indian' restaurants in the UK were in fact Bangladeshi
