Tbf with their GD, I'd be feeling pretty confident if I was an Arsenal fan right now. I know Liverpool and City have games in hand, but I'd rather have the points on the table - so I don't begrudge them their cheer. Pinkie always gets hyper at times like this, if Liverpool win tomorow and City win Thursday, he'll go back to sitting quietly in the corner observing.
... apart from the fact that Citeh could quite easily win all their remaining games ... you have a point
Yeah this is what I feel people are forgetting. City are used to this every year. They’ve won much harder title races than this in previous years.
Ponky will be praying to the rock gods and the mermaids every night between now and season's end ... but who is actually gonna stop Citeh winning?
Spurs are always dangerous because you have some great individuals ... but are also capable of getting well and truly butt ****ed ...
I can't but think that all of the "Man City could win every game from here on in" comments are too hung up on previous iterations of Man City and haven't been watching the current team enough. They're not quite right currently, even when getting results they've been off the boil. Chelsea could have easily beaten them at the weekend, were the better team imho. The same Chelsea who Arsenal just battered. A couple of years back I'd have backed them to win the last 10 games if they needed to but the current Man City have got away to Fulham, Brighton, Tottenham and Forest. I'm fairly sure they aren't going to win all of those.
Having watched them at Palace and seen what Palace have since done, I have to disagree ... they also outplayed Real Madrid ... who would pummel each of Citeh's remaining oponents ... so I really do expect them to win all of their remaining games ...
Maybe. Palace have had a couple of good games but lack consistency, they'll probably get pummelled tonight for instance.
I'm always happy after a win, naturally. Glad to have the points on the board, but the title is still in City's hands though.
I haven't seen one Arsenal fan say that though. If you're getting upset about seeing Arsenal fans at the stadium celebrating beating the chavs 5-0 then you need to take a look at what footie (and especially london rivalries) is all about mate Of course we're gonna celebrate.
Middle-aged bloke in the gym often wears his ‘Enzo 5’ Chelsea shirt. Gimp. You’d think he’d leave it at home today.
