After every game it's guaranteed someone will say 'We'd have won that match with Stewart'.

I remember at least one stretch when he failed to score for half a dozen games ...

... one was around the 6-0 Bolton debacle iirc.
Hes also been injured for most of the last 18 months

Simms one is the best example, he got slagged non stop by a load of our fans for his lack of workrate etc but now hes on fire they are saying we should have signed him no matter what

Me included.

I watched him closely during a couple of games and he really couldn't be bothered.

What's the point of 'bribing' someone to come to Sunderland when their heart's not in it.

Would Mbappe try as hard at Sunderland as he would at Man City ...

... the answer is 'no'.

Besides, not everyone sees the attraction of Roker Beach and Penshaw Hill.

I think he’s improved an awful lot. Really impressed with him on Sunday. Handful.
Think he benefits from Wright being up high close to him, means defenders cant double mark him

I like simms, always have, as hes got the raw attributes youd look for in a CF - still very raw as his link up play isnt great (improving but very sloppy with his passing at times)

probs cos he is being used correctly and being coached the way he needs to be coached.
no my cup of tea, but what do i know.
i was 1 of his slaggers, and still stick by it.

OH and if anyone is interested Will Still had a French scout/agent here on Saturday.
However WHU have already spoken to Will, no idea about what, but they defo have.
I was told Still is a big WHU fan.

Would be typical of our luck if he is our number one target, so we wait for him until the end of the season and he goes to West Ham. :emoticon-0102-bigsm
