What would be bad, would be for SFC.not to.lay a glove on Leicester and lose without breaking a sweat. I can see why it might be an uncomfortable night for SFC regarding the present circumstances of both clubs, with oñe in the verge of automatic promotion and the other awaiting the play-offs. Just hope the players are motivated!

    McCarthy
    Bree
    Stephens
    Bednarek
    Manning
    Smallbone
    Aribo
    Rothwell
    Sulemana
    Fraser
    Adams

Is how I’d lineup, give a couple of players a break and give a couple of players a chance to get some minutes under their belt/maybe find some form. Will probably get hammered but ultimately irrelevant and means Leicester can’t **** it up and end up in the playoffs.

We need to play Charles these last 3 games. Get him up to speed in case Downes isn’t back for playoffs.

I think ‘we’ve’ been saying that for sometime it’s just we don’t pick the team.

We need Charles in there ahead of Smallbone for a DM is my thinking.

There is an element of truth in what you say. Under RH we lost many games from winning positions. To be honest for the 60 + years I’ve watched Saints we’ve always had a ‘soft’ side at some point in the season or individual games and then we’ve won games we weren’t supposed to. Football eh?

We’re gonna miss Stuart with regards to linking defence to attack and creating chances.
Not expecting to enjoy tonight’s match but will hope to be pleasantly surprised.
The manner in which we perform is almost as important as the result and I think our hopes of getting through the playoffs depends on Leicester and Leeds getting the automatic places.
I think we can beat Ipswich, despite them having done the double over us, because of their open defence, but having said that we will probably end up facing a Josh Sargent inspired Norwich and see them get the last promotion spot.

I think one of RM's greatest failings is that he has not given Charles and Downes a chance to form a partnership.

    The basic gist is that

You don't rinse before - you take off any loose food and put in dishwasher.

A dishwasher uses the same water for the clean cycle, so if it runs for 2 hours it only uses less than 5 ltrs of water (about a bowl size). the pre rinse in a dishwasher is tap water (no soap) and cold (not heated ) and less than 1 ltr. If you put on an economy wash then it washes at say 35 degrees, and 35 degrees at 3 hours is less expensive than 70 degrees at 1 hour. The dishwasher tablets are also apparently designed to run at these temperatures and agitate food better over 3 hours than at 70 degrees for 1 hour.

if you wash in a bowl you apparently use over 20 litres of water with the tap running and you have had to pay to heat all of that. I didn't believe it either until i heard the podcast.

Oh and er, match day :)

A win tonight would be the perfect tonic so i'm hoping that we put on a show and prove we are a good team and very much still in with a shot of promotion via the play-offs

I don't have a problem with the way he sets up the team as long as he plays players in their correct position 6s at 6, 8s at 8 etc.
It would be interesting to see two DMs on the pitch trying to close a game out though.

Do we not? Why do we post them then? I thought Russ came on here a few hours before kickoff.

By the way, after my excellent explanation of dishwashers, I am hoping that @Le Tissier's Laces will have an in-depth analysis of pants and sock pre-washing with an evidential podcast.

That was covered in the podcast too - if you take into account the initial cost, expected life and provided it is exposed of in a proper way, a dishwasher can actually be better for the environment :)

Surely his needs to be an analysis of a sock hitting a basket with all the mathematical equations filled in?

Nah. It's like a pair of pants with a hole at the bottom. It's all bollocks. I've realised this now.
