There is just no need for him to come out and say QPR were by far the better team today. Anyone that watched or listened to it could clearly see/hear that there was barely anything between the teams over the course of 90 minutes, not just a strong 30 minute spell where you put us under pressure.

 

Going by his comments on our website, he doesn't say we were by far the better team. He says that we ought to have gone on to win the game, which we really should have, and that we shot ourselves in the foot with poor defending, which is true.

 

COLIN has always been like that for as long as I can remember. Some of our boys seem to be blinded to that fact because of his great success with us. However, it ain't just COLIN. There's plenty of managers who speak like they've been watching a different game all along. Pardew said today that Newkie deserved the draw even though they was battered from start to finish.
