I’ll always follow City but things like this make you lose love for the game. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...no-Sala-death-plane-crash-Premier-League.html
Only consolation is that if TWS go up is they will have to spend a fortune in order not to struggle. And if it doesn’t work they could be in **** street. Hopefully…
I wonder what they’ll do with all the players they sent out on loan due to clauses in their contracts allowing them to leave on loan when they got relegated like Harrison, Wöber, Llorente, Kristensen, Roca, Aaronson etc. Sinisterra and Koch have since made permanent moves away to the clubs they were loaned to but the rest will be back at Leeds in the summer. Would Leeds fans even want them after jumping ship?
The few times I’ve seen them this season they have looked way short of being able to compete in the PL. They need a total overhaul if they go up, IMO, which won’t be cheap.
The ironic thing is the same non league and lower league clubs kicking up a stink are likely to moan like hell when they draw at home to Whitby and then have to travel 4 hours mid week to play a reply neither team needs or wants given the cost implications and the fixture backlogs down to weather. I know 100% a team in the Isthmian were told before a game not to draw it even if it meant conceding a late winner. The club they were playing were miles away and it would have cost a bomb to go there to play in front of a small crowd with half their players pulling out due to 'work commitments'. It's not all replays at the Etihad after a league 2 side held man city to a 0-0 in the 3rd round. In fact most of the time replays are a pain in the backside
Half following Doncaster's game tonight, Lo Tutala's been prominent in the commentary, seems to be enjoying himself.
Doncaster heading for their 10th straight win with Timothy LT in goal... just gone 5th.... congrats to McCann and all involved...
