That story also shines a whole new light on the scene... "A whore cut to look like Lana Turner is still a whore" "That was Lana Turner"
L A Confidential is in my top 5 favourite movies. It's a film I have watched on countless occasions. Only Jaws and Casablanca have been viewed more times. Mind you I've probably watched Jaws over 100 times.
No need to say it, I knew it bro. You, me, Aldo and plenty of whisky, in a boat on the Manchester Ship Canal. Let's make it happen. (I've tee'd this up for the perfect response, don't let me down)
I don't know my Top 5 but Usual Suspects, Goodfellas, The Maltese Falcon, 12 Angry Men, Angels With Dirty Faces, Shawshank Redemption, Back to the Future, and Executive Decision would be in the mix.
When I was seventeen my twenty one year old girlfriend took me to see The Magnificent Seven (I think because of Steve McQueen in his pink shirt) still one of my all time favourite Westerns Even now it still gets to me when Charles Bronson dies protecting the kids
Well since you mentioned that song I thought it would be good to post something relevant to that scene. Jaws, Casablanca, L A Confidential, It's a wonderful life, The guns of Navarone. Based solely on the films I have rewatched the most times.
