    Yes.

first one, young kicked the back of forest players foot as he nipped infront of him. Similar to the couple Newcastle got a few weeks ago but this time the forest player actually got to the ball first rather then just stick his leg in between man and ball.

2nd one, handball I don’t think was handball but you see those given as youngs arm was out. 50/50, prefer them not to be given but no consistency.

3rd one, absolute stonewall of a pen somehow now given as ref thought he won the ball as he did the ‘ball’ motion with his hands. Given could clearly see he didn’t win the ball, how var didn’t decide that was clear and obvious to overrule even before you realise that young just wiped him out from behind with a sliding tackle is beyond me.

the first one was ironed on pen and a disgrace.

the second would be given anywhere on the park so we saw this given for us v atlanta. to not give this is dodgy.

the third is a shocker of an error by ref and then var completely useless and infsct worse than useless.

I'd like to know what forest think their options are bar suing the pgmol if relegated.

It’s a really interesting one, unprecedented really for a club to make that sort of statement/accusation.

It’s pretty outrageous, but Forrest obviously think it’s outrageous that they’ve suggested pre game that a VAR with links to Luton wouldn’t be the best idea and then this happens after they’re ignored!

I wonder if garry neville as an ex man utd player and in house pundit was on Howard webb's speed dial.

I can only presume neville going in calling for a resignation "tonight" has "bothing" to do with how buddy buddy Webb was as a ref with utd

It made me laugh how he slammed clubs for putting out those kind of things online and back in his day the manager would come out and slam the ref and decisions in post match interview as of that was better?!

1, you had Ferguson doing it who never got into trouble for it and had way too much influence over refereeing decisions.

2, manager says anything like that these days and it’s an auto fine and ban so why bother

It's the same old story with VAR - it's good when the decision goes your way, bad when it doesn't. Forest are sweating on survival and lashing out at everything that seems unfairly against them. They were promoted following controversial VAR decisions in their favour.

Also, it looks like Clattenburg is giving them poor advice if the tweet was anything to do with him. Same as the comments following the dropped ball incident.

TBF, at least two of their penalty shouts were obvious claims, and VAR is supposed to be there to correct these incorrect decisions.

Imo, an on pitch referee making an error is forgiveness but VAR doing it isn't; they get to watch it multiple times from multiple angles. It's a disgrace they didn't give at least two penalties to Forest.

I didn't watch the game so can't comment on their penalty shouts. It would be ironic if they were relegated following poor VAR decisions in the same way they were promoted. I've got nothing against them but the 'outrage' over the dropped ball has put me off them a bit.

I'll be honest, I was screaming at the telly for him to be substituted before he scored. I just don't see what he gives us in a 3-man midfield that Carvalho didn't. Sure, he deffo deserves another season, but I just see a young Pogba without the fouls, tbh. We'll see, hopefully.

Neither did I, I watched the highlights on sky Sports website <ok>

I don't care too much for Forest, grew up with too many of them around me.

For me, this has nothing to do with liking or not liking a club - I'm just sick of seeing so many shocking decisions being made.
As the Forest tweet said, it's unacceptable. I agree that on-field mistakes are unavoidable, but there's little or no excuse for VAR.
I don't like the idea at all of Forest having a tame ref lobbying on their behalf, but I'm happy to see the PGMOL nest being poked a bit.

I think he only mentioned not caring too much for Forest in response to me saying that I was going off them a bit after the dropped ball incident.

Like you, I think the way we view refereeing performances both on the pitch and in the VAR room, shouldn't be dependent on whether or not we like a team. We were sold the idea on it making the game better by picking up the errors and correcting them. Instead the VAR will not overrule the onfield ref under any circumstances, it appears. Klopp said a good while ago - get rid of the clear and obvious aspect and it will improve.

it's an odd one as he seems to want to drift to lw almost when we need bodies buzzing about being options for a pass.

I think the entire tactical side of the club is overdue a good freshen up and look forward to "something new" at this point.

it was a great ride but I don't like inverted full backs, narrow wingers, no real movement etc.

all cycles some to an end so something fresh and new might not be better but at least you have a shot at moving with the times.
