Forest forgetting how much they loved VAR in the playoff final.

There will always be one of two bellends who like VAR but they're in a minority now, must fans want it gone.

Replays showing an incident can't be a bad thing in itself, it's the people looking at them that's the problem.

Plus, semi auto offsides should have been a no brainer already.

It's Man Utd fans trying to convince themselves they are still a top club.

It has to be gone after yesterday, but it will not be.

Nottingham Forest spoke out on twitter yesterday, assuming their account wasn't hacked, the sports journalist Henry Winter who has 1.3M followers wrote this:

    Henry Winter

    @henrywinter
    ·
    17h

Immature, irresponsible tweet. There are more grown-up ways to address a concern than this. Bizarre behaviour which simply undermines any sympathy for Forest over the decisions.

This is the problem, sports writers like him along with broadcasting companies like SKY know the problems and are not prepared to speak out - yet the latter will always have something to say about many other things, as long as it don't affect the elite and the gravy train they all have.

Much like Pep speaking out about FA Cup replays, but have City even had a replay in the cup this season, yet they still got knocked out of the CL. VAR even overlooked a handball for them, the rules are no longer clear and concise.

Most other British clubs got knocked out of Europe last week, except for Villa. Too much money, too much cream, does not bring you the best, it just brings you lazy cheating ****s that are milking our game.

While at the bottom end, clubs are going under, and even being refused entry to the EFL, add the money spinning replays coming to an end, lower league football is getting shafted.

The new offside tech I think should stay and I don't want to see pens for no contact dives, but other than that get rid. It's every tiny incident now which wasnt the idea surely?

We got more incidents now than we had before VAR, because it's putting everything under the microscope and football for over a hundred years was never like that, fans accepted it for warts and all - that offside that favoured Man Utd yesterday, should never have been given, the goal should have stood. I've even seen lines showing actually the player was not offside - but regardless which side of that line the Coventry player was in that moment, the benefit of doubt should have been given to the attacking side, and the goal should have stood. If this was in an earlier round not at a Prem ground, it would have stood, why are we using technology that in the main will always favour the elite, because that's exactly why they brought it in!

    In short it's fooking cheating.

As a wise man once said, you can't be a bit offside, much like you can't be a bit pregnant. You either are or you aren't. Personally I couldn't give a fck. We get **** going against us and I don't find the need to moan about it, never have. It's all part and parcel of the game, right? The door swings both ways VAR or no VAR.

But VAR does not swing both ways for Championship clubs, Coventry haven't been in the Prem for over a decade, so there is no the door swinging in their favour, there is no door swinging both ways, it's swinging only in a Prem clubs favour. It's no longer part and parcel of the game, Prem clubs got rid of that by voting in VAR and by voting out Cup replays. If it was swinging in Coventry's favour the goal should have been given, but as per the officials cheated.

Don't see why not having VAR in the Championship means it's swinging in the PL club's favour. Both clubs were playing under the same conditions yesterday. Having a history of playing under VAR doesn't give anyone an advantage as the rules of the game are the same. Unless we're saying Coventry would've been given the advantage of scoring an offside goal?

And United weren't given the offside bcos they were a PL club, unless you're suggesting bias, which would be a nonsense as Coventry were given a pen for the handball. VAR or no VAR makes no difference.

The officials didn't cheat, they gave the goal.

It was over ruled by people sitting in the VAR studio, who called it offside.

If that's cheating, then it's suggesting it was deliberately in favour of United, which is a hell of a leap tbh.

United didn't cheat either, which is something else I'm not having.

Every fellow supporter I have spoken to agrees we didn't deserve this. At all. Not a lot we can do to change the decision though.

No, they are playing under conditions that don't favour both clubs, United play under VAR every game, 38 games per season, Coventry play under no VAR whatsoever until it favours the Prem ground or Wembley in the FA Cup. So it's a bias straightaway - you know that, everyone knows that, that's why they brought VAR in under certain conditions for the FA Cup. Much like the crying by Prem clubs, Pep as an example, over replays, again a bias has been applied. Yesterday a bias was applied in favour of the Prem club for the offside decision, it's cheating.

Personally I couldn't give a fck if they keep VAR or get rid of it. If I had to make a choice I prefer it without.

But let's get it straight, if that had been United having a winning goal chalked off in that game yesterday zero fcks would've been given.

I'm often in Uniteds favour on here, yesterday no, because it shouldn't have been given offside.

The bias angle is your opinion though. It's nowt to do with VAR. And Coventry were given a pen which if there was some bias could easily have not been. Also nowt to do with VAR.

I've had my say, it's not going to change anything on a backwater forum, but about time this monstrosity was got rid of once and for all. It won't be.

The bolded bit: so we don't have officials in the VAR room?
