Why ? and your Irish so you are not even worthy why Man United? you don't understand what supporting your local team is all about. It's really sad that you hope we implode anyway.

Agreed. but right now City are the big boys, and tbh looks like they will be for years to come.

I wont lie our implosion may come, but right now I will enjoy it because I'm a proper fan, unlike your lot who booed your team off the field today.

Anyone care to explain Rooney's assault on Coloccini then? Or do cry faces and insults towards NUFC suffice to win an argument around here?

The first kick maybe, but the second and third kicks? The ref obviously stopped the game because of this but failed to brandish a card, even if Rooney was completely innocent does this not strike you as unfair? Or at least odd?

They have every right to be aggrieved. And did you see United players surrounding the ref, swearing at him, shouting at him? No. Ryan Giggs even pushed away United players so the ref could talk to the linesman properly.

Big difference between booing of a team and booing off the officials.

We've had enough implosions in the last ten years I think that's more than enough.... Anyway back to the game

Man United yet again displayed their legendary bully boy tactics. Rooney showed what a horrible little **** he is and they descended on officials like a pack of animals every time a decision didn't go their way.

I'd say it disgusts me, but it's par for the course especially at Old Trafford. Sadly it's what people come to expect from Man United. The manager is a bully and the team is made in the image of the manager. All rival fans hate United because of these bullying tactics manipulating the officials in the media it's absolutely shocking.

I seem to recall a penalty United got at Liverpool not so long ago where replays showed the ball was won. These things happen in football, but sadly those with glasses from the Man United club shop can't see that and believe they have a divine right to win every game.

In discussions of the penalty award I've not seen one comment that actually reflects the rules as they are now. The reference to a tackle being a foul if the man is touched before the ball was removed from the Laws of the Game a few years back. The rules now say a tackle is a foul if its careless, reckless or with excessive force. Since the way Ferdinand made the tackle ensured that his trailing leg would catch the Newcastle player whether he got the ball or not, it was perfectly open to the assistant referee to decide that it was careless and award a penalty. Not sure whether he was right or wrong but the fact that Ferdinand touched the ball first matters not a jot under the current rules.

Why don't you all stop moaning about the Pen decision, and instead worry about how easily HBA just glided through your midfield and defence.
