Agree. In 80+ mins, before 'panic stations' (btw, if his process is so good why does it go out of the window late on, weren't we told to trust it?) we had a back heel and a free kick near enough straight at the keeper. That's nowhere near good enough in a game we had to go all out to win, and with the attacking talent we have. (Yep, I know we missed a penalty too but the build up didn't register a shot on target).
No, we have no right to win any game. But I'd reasonably expect more from the players we have in terms of meaningful attempts on goals in 80+ mins in a 'must win' game. We've seen similar far too often under Rosenior.
We didn’t have much aside from the pen and the back heel really though. The Sharp chance was okay but difficult because of the keepers starting position
Just not sure what these expectations are We did enough to win the game Watford are a team transformed under cleverley Scoring the early pen changes the whole game Believe it or not Watford didnt plan all week just to allow us to score at will They make it scrappy as ****, as they did against ipswich And leeds and preston and southampton I guess rosie just didnt ask em to attack as much this week
Rosenior has been feeding us bullshit long enough on how we are good enough we are for the play offs, we’ve had a good away record but again fallen short on the game we had to win, we never looked liked scoring apart from the pen, as someone said he talks like he’s at a job interview, and the ****s in favour of scrapping replays.
I love that when we win games convincingly it's "Oh the penny's dropped, Rosenor's had talks with Tan and he's released the handbrake and it's so good" and when we lose it's "This is slow boring not attacking enough".
If we can finish 7th this season, it's a fantastic achievement from where we were 12 months ago. Regardless of what people like to say we don't have a big budget or an experienced squad either and it's a budget we're outperforming which is a good start.
Not only that, but when we win, the bit you mentioned is always followed by a preparatory dig for the next game along the lines of "let's see if he sticks to it or goes back to his usual way". Staying on the front foot to go for him again as soon as the next bad result comes.
I think the majority of fans are very much in favour of Rosenior and it’s just the active moaners on here, Facebook, and some of Twitter shouting louder than everyone else.
He could take us to the Premier League, win that, win the FA Cup, and the Champions League, year after year until he eventually decides to leave to manage England and guide them to their first World Cup since ‘66 and they’d still not like him.
I liked him as a player...and when he first took over...but not now as his style of play just bores me to death especially at home....
Rosenior's style of play is a strange mixture 1 He seems to want to take risks when taking goal kicks 2 Pass the ball around at the back while the opponents get into their defensive shape which leads to our players not knowing what to do to penetrate the defence 3 Then sometimes we pass quickly and effectively to create chances I just wish we cut back on 1 & 2.
