A curry that was investigated then re-investigated again (at a cost of over £100k) because some mason in the Tories got his masonic mate in Durham police to open the investigation at the behest of Dan Hodges in the Daily Mail (can you see a pattern here re Rayner?). Compare that with stopping Sue Gray from investigating the No10 ABBA lockdown party (because they knew Boris was bang-to-rights for attending it) and getting Javid's brother in the Met to brush it under the carpet instead.

You neglect to say that the incidents involved were months apart under considerably different lockdown rules. And don't pretend to be some sort of expert on electoral law - every paper (even the Tory client ones) have had to admit that the statute for bringing charges under the electoral law act has passed by nearly a decade.

He was accepted into law school as it happens but quickly realised he’d have better knowledge relying on THE FACTS and Darren Grimes’ tweets.

Which incidents months apart under which Lockdown rules? Cake for Boris: 19 Jun 2020; Starmer Curry: 30 Apr 2021.

Starmer’s defence was that it was a working lunch because they could not eat at the hotel – this lie was immediately exposed because the media went and asked the hotel who stated that food was available until 9pm. Interestingly, I cannot recall anywhere that I have worked that had beer with working lunches.

I never claimed to be an expert on electoral law. I mere stated that if both houses are in the same electoral ward, then living in one or the other still entitles the occupier to one vote at one address (or the other), which surely is not a breach of electoral law. I do not know what the statute of limitations is on electoral law but the statute of limitations of taxes is six years. If you fiddle your taxes and they do not catch you within six years then you got away with it.

The latest Tory media gaslighting in the Times and Telegraph states that Rayner described herself as “the landlady” at the property which she was claiming as her main residence when a window was broken and that her brother lived there claiming a single occupancy Council Tax discount.
