Two Wembley shoot-out defeats in less than 12 months for Coventry. That's got to be hard to take.

 

Football only exists for the Big 6, clubs like Coventry and us are merely cannon fodder.

Occasionally someone else gets a win but it is so rare.

 

United will get obliterated by City in much the same way.

 

This neutral won't even bother switching the TV on for City vs Utd.

Would have been incredible Coventry getting there.

 

How can being robbed of the greatest modern fa cup moment be good for the neutrals? Baffling.

VAR is so incredibly **** I genuinely struggle to see how people could look forward to next season if we're promoted.

 

And then lose about 5-0 while keeping 11 men behind the ball. At least United will have a go. City v Coventry would have been awful to watch. Attack v defence. A training session for City.

 

Yeah I haven't watched FA Cup finals for years but definitely would have watched had Coventry won.

 

By neutrals I think he means 15 year old Saudi Arabian FIFA-playing Ronaldo fan-boy types.

Certainly not real football fans.

 

Yeah because there's never any upsets in football.

 

Again, this is how I envision City v United going.

 

I want to watch a final where both sides have a chance to win. We now have that.

 

Not when it comes to City anymore. They've learned their lesson from the Wigan defeats.

F*ck has happened to English football if this is the best the neutral can hope for.

 

No I didn't actually. I wanted a Coventry v Man United SF as I thought that gave Coventry the best possible match up - United are always vulnerable. But City are a completely different animal. My opinion is that City would have destroyed Coventry and it would have been the most one sided final in history. I want a final where the result isn't inevitable before a ball is kicked, or at least not decided after half an hour.

 

Hopefully City can secure another historic double
