VAR’s just robbed football of one the greatest moments in recent times. When it’s that close just give benefit of the doubt to the attacker. **** of a thing, absolute ****.
Official ruling is his bellend was offside. If he’d placed it the other side this morning they’d be in a final.
I've swayed on VAR over the recent years but i think this goal highlights my main issue with it - the players and fans can no longer know if they're meant to celebrate a goal any more. Yes in the past there were disallowed goals but at least you knew almost immediately or had a chance to see the flag being waved. I'm pretty certain that the amount of mistakes in football is smaller now that VAR is used but I'd be willing to trade it for the ability to just celebrate when my team scores without a part of me holding back for the VAR check. It's meant to be fun.
I'd say well done Man Utd but it really wasn't. I think Ten Hag has done a spectacular task of winning the semi's and also making more people doubt him. It's like he's testing the resolve of the directors to sack him on purpose.
