Interesting that you say that, i got a message from a contact who used to be a director of football in Franch who said he was at the game today. I asked him who he was scouting, usually he will tell me, but this time he said noone (then incuded a winky face emoji) Now it might not be anything but after you said that i wonder if he is potentially being poached for a role in the club He would be class, very very highly rated (City were looking at bringing him in, in a senior scouting role last season)

That was terrible before I get hammered… Loads saying elsewhere that it was the worst Sunderland performance they’ve seen. I don’t think they’ve seen many matches then. In fact I don’t even think it was the worst performance this season - that was Blackburn in my view. Some players had some good moments today I thought including Rigg, Pembele, Styles, AA, but yes overall it was poor and I think that was down to Dodds as much as anything. Not attack minded.

When you look at how much of a chance Burstow got compared to the rest of the strikers I don't think he has, if he'd been given the starts Burstow has I'm sure he'd of made a bigger impact imo.
I’m home and on the lash with the missus and I’m still boiling at that performance, the SOL should be a terrible place for teams to come and try and pick something up, it’s become easy pickings, I looked around today and loads of people were missing who usually sit around me, strangers in their seats or empty. It needs to be a fortress an intimidating place to come not a f####ng place where we roll over and get our bellies tickled every home game. Anyway try and enjoy your night lads, we deserve better than this and hopefully KLD has some master plan up his sleeve for next year
I posted it earlier but I still can't believe we have a better points return at home this season than last. Feel like someone's pulling my leg with that. We've been shocking at home this season.
After such a sterile performance I could do with some of the drugs the referee was on ... ... he seemed to have very little grasp of the rules, even the linesmen looked bemused at him
