Watford boss Tom Cleverley: "I thought it was spirited, we looked motivated. (But) I thought we were flat for an hour and we need to make it happen rather than wait for it to happen. "I thought the introduction of the substitutes gave us a little bit of freshness and a real purpose in some of our good play. "In the end I thought a draw was probably a fair result. They had less chances but probably bigger ones." Hull City boss Liam Rosenior: "The lads are devastated. I can't fault their effort, their endeavour or fight for the shirt. "Their goalkeeper (Daniel Bachmann) was the man-of-the-match, he had one of those special days where everything he seemed to do was magnificent. "We've just got to keep maintaining this level of performance and keep believing because Norwich have dropped points and we're still in with a shout so we need to just focus on what we can do."
I think you may have missed my point. But if you can prove Suarez wasn’t a great player - fair play - I can’t stand the c****.
Based on your username I’m going to assume you’re at least 54. Which means that I’m obviously wrong that age brings experience and the ability to keep calm and make reasoned decisions because you wouldn’t be the way you are if that theory was true.
If Pandur goes out on loan in the summer, I’ll be ****ed off. Signed a highly-rated keeper for him not to play in favour of the worst keeper City have had in 20 years. It would be like signing Ömür and not playing him in favour of Lokilo.
He should’ve been #1 the day he signed. Rosenior dropped Ingram for Allsop for far less than the ****e performances Allsop has put in.
I don't think Pandur is here to sit on the bench....I reckon he could be in for Ipswich and Plymouth, then from the start of next season.
He probably should have been, but maybe LR didn’t want to disrupt both the front and back of the team too much at the same time? I fo feel it should have happened sooner, but I can also see why it hasn’t, considered we’ve managed to turn our form around for the most part. There’s no point in shaking things up when results are going in our favour.
Sick of this now. Oright he had a good game, but Rosie we are glaringly short at the top of the pitch, we have been all season. Sort it out in the summer.
Agree with this, everyone is clamouring over Morton, but we need a bit of gamesmanship in the middle. Our tackling stays in the middle are poor.
Think I could have saved some of those. Don't recall him making a save that you wouldn't expect a half decent keeper to make. All fairly routine.
What on earth makes you think he’d go out on loan? We paid a seven figure fee for him, he’s clearly not ‘one for the future’ (unless we’re calling next season the future).
Agree. Plus the comments about their keeper conveniently shift the narrative. It's not like we bombarded the keeper and he had a blinder. We didn't and he didn't. Decent save against a tame penalty, a smart stop for the back heel and a routine save from the free kick (too close to him). Unfortunately the manner of our QPR performance was another false dawn.
It's becoming a strange pattern but we lose control when Tufan goes off. It happened again today and it's something we need to fix in the summer. The bench for me is where we've fallen short. Watching the West Brom game earlier, they've got Swift, Chalobah, Maja, Weimann, Ajayi, and Phillips all to bring on plus young Fellows and that's with their top scorer and Dike out injured. You look at our bench and there's not really much to change a game.
What is it with you personally slagging off other posters, Citizian mentioned it earlier and here you are again !
We paid a seven-figure fee for a highly-rated keeper in January who hasn’t made an appearance for us yet because Rosenior continues with his dogshit mate in goal. Today he wasn’t even on the bench despite being in the warm-up. I hope he doesn’t go out on loan. Wouldn’t surprise me if he did though.
