Surely Fergie should play? I rate him higher than Sammy to be honest.

1934: Some clear beneficiaries from today's results. Tottenham not only picked up three points, but saw Newcastle and Arsenal drop them, while Chelsea's return to winning ways boosts their position at the top of the table. Meanwhile, Wigan's win lifts them off the bottom of the table. Manchester City didn't even play today, but it will feel like they did. And won.

Okayyyyyyyy, better than I thought today.

Rooney should have been sent off to start with, the referee obviously stops the play because Rooney kicked out yes? So why oh why does he escape that without so much of a caution???????? This is absolutely baffling to me, and I guarantee this wont be shown or discussed on MOTD yet the penalty will be shown about 10 times and discussed for a good 10 minutes.

Why was Ben Arfa booked? he basically had a word with the "UNITED" player that horrible **** Rooney without laying hands on him and gets booked? Why? The "UNITED" players surrounded the ref every time something went against them and they didnt get a single card against them. Typical Old trafford man.

Then Rooney (who probably should not have been on the field) gets a free kick, mugs it up, gets the second attempt which is deflected off Herandez's ARMS and into the net. Am I the only one who's seeing this? mental.

After this we get the least of the play which is to be expected, we are not the quality of "UNITED" and nobody would argue that we are but deary me, every single 50/50 decision goes against us. Something has to be done against the big teams getting the majority of decisions in games, we are very, very lucky to get a point out of this, the ref honestly might aswell have been wearing a "UNITED" shirt.

Then we win the penalty and Rio has his usual dickhead fit (which none of the "UNITED" players get booked for even when they have done equal or more than Cabaye or Ben Arfa did.

I admit it looked like Ferdinand won the ball, but considering the sheer amount of decisions against us unfairly we deserved that penalty because the ref was making damn sure we wouldnt win it from open play.

All in all 1-1 is a fair result but I believe with 11 men and ALL of our main guys fit we could have nicked a win today. "UNITED" wont win the league this season.

Move Raylor onto the wing and play Santon at LB.

<ok> Good review. Agree all round, and also agree on the use of "UNITED" when referring to Man U.

This. Play Raylor left-mid with Santon at left-back.

That would be perfect actually. Raylor has had a bit of a tough time defensively the last couple of games so this would ease the pressure without knocking his confidence and dropping him and it would provide Santon with a bit of protection for his full debut and when he bombs forwards.

Also is anyone else pissed off that Fabio somehow did not get sent off?

Man United got nearly every decision other than the penalty. They always act like spoilt brats when something goes against them and to be honest they usually don't.

    Changes for Chelsea IMO.

Ben Arfa to fill in at LM for Gutierrez

Tiote for Guthrie (Guthrie was very good today but Tiote is still another class above)

Best to fill in for the extra space and revert back to 4-4-2, dont care what anybody says, Ba doesnt look the same player without the support of Best and he works extremely hard for the team, didnt think much again of Hatem today and would go 50/50 with him and Ben Arfa for the LM position, starts have to be earned and shouldnt just be given to Barfa because hes a big name player, remember that.

    So, 4-4-2.

    Krul

    Simpson Taylor Coloccini Santon

    Obertan Cabaye Tiote Sammy/Barfa

    Best Ba

    (Just my opinion fellas.)

Not a bad team but I have a feeling Pards will keep the same team.. and just stick Sammy on the left-hand side with Raylor at left-back again and he'll keep Best and Tiote on the bench with Guthrie's current form and Best not fully fit yet.

    Hopefully I'm wrong though.. <ok>

Guthrie was excellent today, so unless he is still struggling I wouldn't drop him. If it wasn't for fullback being our weakest area I would suggest a 4-3-3/4-3-1-2 with Cabaye, Tiote and Guthrie in the middle and then Ba, Ben Arfa and Obertan/Best up top. However I would then be worried that we would get exposed on the wings.

If we did that to Man U, I can't wait for Chelsea <ok> Especially as they're playing worse this year!
