Speaking as 'an outsider' what does this say about the claims that the PL is the best in the world ... ... it doesn't even seem the best in Europe. And, apart from the top few teams, the rest are barely good enough for the PL let alone Europe.
Hard to judge yr on yr in cup competitions, the PL is the strongest from top to bottom and the best to watch imo (out of the top flight leagues in Europe anyway). Last yr 2 of the 3 european champions were from the PL.
Oxford v Stevenage in L1 tonight… Oxford win would just about seal a play off spot. Stevenage now need a miracle to make the play offs.
Managerless now too Stevenage, comfortable home win I think, much prefer the EFL being on over the prem
Looked a good bet for the play offs for a while too, didn’t realise they’d fallen apart that much mind, gaffer leaving for a team already relegated with 2 games to go is the final kick in the bollocks for them
Premier league is open for a few teams to win it, most leagues have one or two main teams and that's it.
Not having a go or anything here by the way my other point would be the city vs Madrid game is one of the most one sided games I've ever seen. For a team of Madrid quality etc for them to play the way they did was shocking really. Yeah they went through but surely shows they had to defend for thier lives as city are that good.
TBH mate, I should never have commented. I have virtually no interest in the European games and don't know who's any good. I lost interest when almost everyone in the top half seems to qualify for one of the various competitions. I'll keep my nose out in future
True but, to be honest, my opinion is based on virtually nothing ... ... Europe is just not my thing.
Nowt wrong in that, honest... probably a reason why you get so much stick. Keep posting marra, you are a great contributer to this forum I've had a few, red, now on to the port
