Perhaps the Malcom Walker offer was rejected by Pearson when his Leeds mate stepped in at the last minute? Or he withdrew his offer?

It was 'news' repeated to me by one of Fc's most ardest and longest serving supporters, who, supposedly has his ear to the ground and inside information from club employees. He even told what he had allegedlly paid for the club. I couldn't care less who bought the club and told him so also reminding him that the Allams turned it down three times and they could have taken it on for nothing. Of course he didn't believe that.
