I could watch him dribble all day. We all could. So could he though, and that's the issue. He got into a rut where he just had to go and beat one more.

Thanks again for setting up tomorrows game RTB <applause>. I like your team and think we will win it if we keep it tight at the back, we should have too much for them second wind, if we make the right choices of substitutions based on merit, and giving some minutes to players like Adil, Ba, Hemir, Mundle or Watson.

Less than 50% dribble success rate. Not great. Would rather see someone who can set up/score goals.

Great thread RTB for the penultimate home game of the season.

We are in our own mini league of 5 now really with Cardiff, Brizzle, Swansea and Watford and if I was Dodds, I'd be pushing them to win it and finish 11th.

Hoping Neil is fit. If not I'd bring Alese in at LWB and move Styles into the middle
I would play Rigg narrow, just off Jobe and forsake the RW. He's much better suited and more dangerous in the middle and crosses are food and drink to their CB's. If we play with Wing backs, Pembele can provide the width on the right, when needed.

Expecting a tight war of attrition with us sneaking it 1-0 in our pursuit of the mini league title.

No need to shout. And at no point did I disagree with you about his current form. It’s terrible. Point I was making was that you questioned his ability which you simply cannot. He looked a world beater last season. Ie he has a lot of ability. He isn’t playing well and hasn’t this season. Hasn’t lost the ability. Just the form.

. I don’t boo players. Totally detrimental. I don’t understand those who do so why you aimed this comment at me I have no idea

Can have all the ability he wants (I don't agree that he has as much as some believe) but his application warrants serious discussion over whether he should be at the club in the future imo. This 'experienced player' is damaging our on field results.

I would normally predict a high scoring win but as it hasnt happened I will go for 2-0 and hope I am wrong and we beat them 6-0.
No pressure on us at all so I hope Dodds team talk is fk it lads go out and enjoy yourselves and play with freedom.

I watches him very closely at Derby. He was not poor at all.

I think his form has been poor this season. Earlier in the season though he wasnt as bad as some make out. A look at his nadic stats arent great at all, but watch his game and it was a different story in the early period. He would often play a key pass just before a goal, but because stats like assists are so limited in terms of perspective he doesnt appear on the list. What often happens with Roberts is he attracts defenders to him, opening up acres of space for others. Again nobody comments on that part of his game. There is an awful lot he can offer that others cant, but certainly since Mowbray has gone his form has been poor overall. I wouldnt pick him tomorrow, but he is a hell of a long way from a poor footballer. He is an example of making a poor move early. Had he stayed at Fulham and avoided Man City I would bet good money he would now be a premier league winger. It was a terrible decision for him as a player, and a move Man City handled terribly.

Well RTB, as always a pleasure reading your matchday warm up.

Also interesting reading the debate on Roberts. Poor season overall, but a hell of a good footballer if treated properly, is my stance. I will be sticking tonl it too. Over to the next coach to make his judgement.

I dont like Milwall much, but I do like Neil Harris. A much underrated coach. He is probably tailor made for Milwall and a big part of me wants him to succeed. Not tomorrow obviously.

I think these games are crucial. If we could pinch a couple of league places it could well be the difference between players coming here or not. I not convinced at all by the 3 cb approach though. It just does not suit the squad strengths. I would like to see a back four, with Hume left back and Pembele right back. Lets get Styles on the ball more. Play Rigg in the middle and continue with Jobe up top. Sorry but Hemir has not earned a chance in my opinion yet. I would like Ba to play too, but want him to learn how to make the pitch wide at home. Should be under strict instruction, let Pembele underlap him.

Anyway, I cant go to matches still. Looking like I have done all my games for this season sadly. Looking after my Dad, but I will be sat with him, by the 'wireless' listening in for scores ( and more importantly relaying how we are playing to him based on you fine fellows on this thread <applause>)

Just want players throughout the squad held to the same standards.

His numbers overall are bad, not just the g/a's.

I think Roberts is poor, for what I look for in a winger anyway.

Decided to do the last three games so setting off at 6.30am tomorrow. It's early but means it's only £35 return.

Thankfully the Mags were knocked out of the FA Cup so they won't be at Central Station on their way to Wembley <laugh>

Roberts misses amad a lot but the team had the luxury of attacking football last season due to 3 unbelievable forward players. Clarke, Roberts and Amad ran riot teams couldn't cope. Technically Roberts is the best player we've ever had absolute magical on the ball but he's an end product away from being a great player.

Its been done to death, but if no Neil, I'd play Styles in the middle in the hope he has a bit bite and drops off to allow Ekwah a bit more freedom to link with Rigg. I'd play Mundle on the right and Clarke on the left. Obviously Clarke is amazing, but I'd be hoping Mundle can get onto them, give him instructions to attack with Pembele on the overlap.

Hume would be left back if Alese ain't fit. Wonder how he'd fair in centre mid?

Shame our only striker option atm is seemingly Jobe.

He has not played much during our worst run of form since we got promoted yet you single him out for damaging on field results. You have your opinion and others have theirs let's just leave it at that.
