Dear Chris, Too often weâve been at home and created enough chances but not done enough to go on and win the game. Weâve created enough, but havenât taken those chances. Itâs happened too often in recent weeks. We have to be bigger and better. We need to have the ability, when the chances fall for us, to stay calm and not get edgy or nervous, and take a few of them. We piled people forward to try and win the match and we made a mistake. Wes Brown has been terrific for us in all the games heâs played and heâs made a bad mistake today, but Iâm not going to hold him responsible for their goal. You canât keep making excuses, week in, week out. Unless we handle it and deal with it weâre going to have afternoons like this one. I fully understand the frustrations of the fans, but Iâm still convinced the dressing room will turn it around. Itâs in my nature never to chuck anything so weâll be ready to go again on Monday morning. We will dust ourselves down and get ready for the challenge ahead. All the best, Steve Bruce At least he didn't blame the ref, but he really needs to go now.
Well theyve got to balance his bloody pay off against the cost to the club if we gan down...which we bloody will, with him at the helm !!!
a was a bib, a wanted him to suceed but my faith has been waning over the last few weeks. Now i cross to the bobs. one point at home to fulham & wigan not good enough. Positives from today, i met two old school chums and they look worse than me. bonus.
Yes we created enough chances to have won the game by some margin .... BUT, this has been the problem since Bent left last January ............. Bent would have had a field day today, but for all the chances we will not score unless we have forwards on the pitch. If you were ever going to 'blood' Noble, today was the day, he would have converted enough in amongst that Wigan defence to have won the match..... and scoring goals breeds confidence elsewhere in the team, THAT is what is lacking ............... WHY OH WHY can he not see that? I have supported him and the players all of the way, but today of all days to play 4-5-1 was ridiculous. It is with a heavy heart that I say he must go.
One - ONE of Bruce's problems is now we have a team built around Darren Bent. Unfortunately he and Gyan aren't here any more. Does he notice? Obviously not. I blame Bruce for Bent, Quinn for Bruce and SHORT FOR QUINN. No-one in the right places now cares for my beautiful, wonderful team. I have stayed away a lot lately because I disagree with a lot of the pap on here. I NEED to let peeps know how bad I feel about how my club is being ran. This is awful. x
I have supported bruce as he was our manager and In have ignored the people who has said that he was tactically inept. But how he could not see that we were vulnerable on the break and take of a defender who was doing well and replace him with a striker I do not know. Why not take off a midfileder and replace them with a midfielder. The players ran there hearts out but there was not a game plan and they ended up going for the same ball. the number of times the ball went across the box and there was no one following up . THERE IS ONLY ONE PERSON TO BLAME FOR THE DEFEAT AND THAT IS BRUCE.
Simply put, the whole of the South West Corner where I am, for 10 mins at the end, sang "You Fat Geordie Bastard Get out of our Club" Any man who cares about a club and a team, as Bruce apparently does, would do the right thing, and resign. But oh, not Steve Bruce, who came out on Radio Newcastle after the match and says "Ive never walked away from a challenge, and I wont walk out on this" We will go down if this idiot is still in charge at Christmas. Get him sacked. Give someone else enough time to assess the players, then come up with a strategy for transfers for January.
Sent to his auto reply [email protected] Farewell & thanks for all your best efforts. It's shame it has to end like this but I guess thats the life of a professional football manager. Good luck in the future with another club should you continue in this vocation. Oh yer & ticked unsubsribe
Thanks for the link mate here is mine sent 2 mins ago Any manager with a 29% win record should do the honorable thing and walk, not wait for a sacking pay day, 4-5-1 at home against the weakest team in the leauge shows that you are not up to the job, good luck in your next venture.
