Overbooked flight from Stuttgart. Deciding if I take the option of them putting me up tonight and the cash or get home.
Obviously a paid night away from the kids in a foreign city full of sausage and beer. Treat yourself to a brass.

Just waxed up this old beauty. A board that came into my possession around 14 years ago on a trip to California, where it stayed for a few years until I went back and managed to get it shipped over in a container with a load of other boards (DHL were quoting me $600 air freight at the time !) Anyway fast forward a decade or so and I’d surfed it to near destruction, it ended up on the rocks at a local spot. Smashed nose, broken fin box, glass ripped off the deck etc. I sold it for £80 so that somebody could cut out the useable blank and shape a short board. The bloke who bought it had it restored instead by a chap who is well renowned down here. He brought it back to life with a sympathetic restoration, keeping all of the old scars and scrapes under a new layer of fibreglass. Anyway, matey who owned it contacted me the other week to see if I wanted to buy it back, just for the cost of the restoration, so here we are reunited again
Went to see this last night, most of the original cast too, loved the show at the time and the stage show didn't disappoint either.
Anywhere charging that much is doing a poncey Full English that doesn’t fill you up and doesn’t include black pudding too.
