Ha, actually, how many appearances do you need to get that trophy?

 

It's probably more than what Tella did to get a medal.

 

He only made three. Also, the club distributes them - so clubs don't give them to former players.

But it was replying to my comment about the same season… and doing it in one season sounds more impressive!

 

I see Arsenal and city both knocked out of the champions league last night.

 

That means half a dozen England players will get a bit of rest instead of playing 5 more competitive games. And the final is on June 1st. Just two weeks before the Euros.

If its PSG vs Real Madrid in the final, then that's a lot of the France squad hopefully burning themselves out.

 

Plus Bellingham though.

FA Cup replays have been scrapped from the 1st round onwards.

 

Disgraceful decision.

Some of the smaller clubs rely on replays to generate extra income. But I suppose we've got to please the Big 6 & their needs.

 

In addition "All rounds of the Emirates FA Cup will also be played on weekends, including the fifth round which has been played in midweek for the last five seasons."

 

How long before they introduce 'seeding', so that the big clubs avoid each other in the early rounds?

 

Appeasing the big clubs is the exact reason being given for scrapping the replays, because the European competitions are being enlarged.
A complete and utter piss take and disrespect to the rest of the clubs and the competition, especially as the “big clubs” generally put out their second teams.
