Yepp..I recall going to Ipswich on the last game of the season in the promotion season. Losing to a Alan Lee goal. Stoke drew at home to Leicester 0-0 to get second and we had to settle for 3rd ....Be nice to beat them to even the score.
Remember that Ipswich game too , neither team deserved a win but you sort of knew he’d score a crappy header !! Only me , and a mate who fell asleep before we’d got out of Ipswich and stayed that way ‘til Goole , 5 hrs talking to myself . It was not a good day !!
Just listened to 1904 podcast and non of them had heard of this. Surely if true and fans know the journalists would have heard the rumours. I can't say it's definitely not true I just find it hard to believe
Suspect there might be some element of truth in parts of it, but as they said on the podcast it's probably not that big a deal and not that rare. There's often Chinese whispers on here, and it's likely that happens with the offline part of these things being passed around too. Certainly, Morton being unhappy at being dropped sounds very plausible. LR being told by Tan to let Carvalho decide upon new tactics on his own mid-match, less so.
Where has it been said that tan told LR to let Carvalho decide upon new tactics on his own mid match?
I think you should go re read what he put as that's not what he said. You wouldn't want to start Chinese whispers would you....
To me this reads more like some of the players felt things were too rigid, but only ST would be able to clarify the specifics.
It does zero good for Baz to start talking about stuff like that. The journalists that are around the club will hear and be told loads but it doesn't mean it is suitable for publication
Baz wasn't talking about stuff like that. They were asked about it by a couple of people writing in and they all said they had heard nothing about it. The discussion about it was on here.
I have a match day streaming service subscription. I was unable to access the QPR game and had to pay 10 pounds to watch. Othere had to do the same any one know why and what does it take to get the 10 quid back
The stream took a while to 'activate' on the website so you may have been prompted to pay the extra money erroneously. If you have a pass, never pay the prompted amount, and if you contact the club they should be able to refund. I just wait/refresh until it allows me to watch the stream.
