Braverman is a vile woman. You would think her family’s background would actually give her some empathy with the people she seeks to persecute. You’d think she would be a role model for those from certain ethnic minorities who aspire to hold senior public office and be involved in governance of the country. But no chance. Rather than breaking down barriers, she’s erecting them. This is one of the effects of colonialism. Not of all of the oppressed want equality; they want equality with their masters - in other words, the same rights to oppress others.
