It's not quite that mate. PL Clubs end of financial years is 30th June. They then have to have their accounts done and audited and handed to PL by December. Hence why its been Jan we heard about Everton and Forrest failing PSR this year.
Newcastle United are looking into the possibility of signing Adarabioyo along with Bournemouth centre-back Lloyd Kelly, 25, as the English pair are both out of contract in the summer. (Telegraph - subscription required) Barcelona have rejected an offer from an unnamed Premier League club for Brazil winger Raphinha, 27.????? Newcastle United are intensifying their scouting of RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko as they look to beat Manchester United and Chelsea to the signing of the 20-year-old Slovenia striker
Laughable that Spurs and Arsenal fans think they a chance of signing Isak. He will only leave us for one of either Real Madrid or Barcelona. Elite clubs.
Arsenal maybe not Tottenham.... Tottenham really are delusional. It has to be remembered Isak had something for Arsenal, they are going to be offering champions league and can double his wages at least. Then on top of that it's in London.

To be fair I'd take the two free players just to keep the kitty topped up for players like Sesko as both would pad out the defence and improve the quality. Kelly for Dummett - yes please, 7 years younger than Dummy and better quality means better squad overall with some longevity. Adarabioyo for Lascelles - sideways move imho but he's 27 so just coming into his peak while Lascelles is coming to the end of his so again buy's us a few years but likely to be 4/5th choice CB. Sesko for Wilson - nearly 13 years between the pair of them and he looks like a talent, he's doing in in Germany where the football is most similar to ours so he's probably good enough for the EPL. Again it looks like long term planning if he were to come in. Still like to see a World Class CB come in along side those 3 (or skip on both of the CB's to push the boat out for someone of major potential) and a GK if there's enough in the pot.
There's always big names mentioned that will without doubt end up elsewhere. The Dewsbury Hall, Branthwaite and Kelly rumours sound like our type. I'm not keen on Dewsbury Hall, but the other two would be nice... suspect Branthwaite will end up with a better option .
I've thought for a while that Arsenal would suit Isak perfectly. He's exactly what they need. Would fit right in next to Saka and Martinelli. Can assist, score, dribbling, run with the ball, make goals out of nothing.
After this season he'll have five years remaining on his contract so unless there is a clause he's here for minimum 3 more seasons - bought him for £60m+ and the way he's hitting goals your talking £120-180m to buy him in the next 24-36 months.
I'm unsure what will happen, but when a club can offer a player double his wages and champions league football it'll only lead to a sale imo.
Do you think our owners would sell him for less than an extortionate fee? Seems very very unlikely, unless he has a release clause we haven't heard about. If he starts to agitate for a move we would still likely hold out for a huge sum.
