Whilst this is good if you don’t live locally & we’re on TV a lot, it’s also more of a possibility that our Saturday afternoon games will be moved all over the place.
and Manchester City couldnt fit him in their first XI easily I know Man City are a quality team but they needed him
It always looks pathetic and petulant when players try to snatch the ball from the designated penalty-taker. I remember in our League One covid season when Wilks snatched it from Magennis against Donny I think it was. It’s embarrassing and creates unnecessary conflict.
So embarrassing. The only thing I can think is Madueke thought he won the pen (he didn't, it was Palmer) so wanted to take it, but even so, know your place.
I'm not sure you can say Man City 'needed' him when they're on track for another treble without him. The pure hit to their bottom line it gives them is a major boost for FFP.
meanwhile in scottish league 2, division leaders stenhousemuir drew for the 6th consecutive game (and 8th time in ten games). at the other end, clyde lost to 3rd placed dumbarton and returned to last place after bonnyrigg rose won 4-1 away and stranraer managed a point. four of stenhousemuir's last six games have been 0-0 and the other two ended 1-1, so they've scored and conceded two goals in 6 games.
Tufan’s never missed a pen for us. Óscar, Philogene and Carvalho have all missed when Tufan wasn’t on the pitch to take the pen. If Philogene and Carvalho ever tried snatching the ball from Tufan before a pen, I’d be furious. Club’s have designated penalty-takers and that’s that. No need for arguments.
Speaking of Clyde et al, you may find Footy Adventures on YouTube* of interest. He's visited lots of lower league clubs in Scotland, and many other higher leagues here and abroad, and has visited Clyde twice this season. Not a bad way to earn a living. * I'm just watching two antipodean waffles at the minute. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
After full consideration I'll pass, thanks awfully. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
