Just shows what a great manager Sir Alex is. Don't forget that we have good youngsters coming through ourselves and our defence is a lot strong than Arsenal's. Arsenal's downfall is Wenger's refusal to play any way other than attacking which leaves them exposed at the back, the weakest area of their team. Also they only really have one top class striker in Van Persie. I think Bedntner is just awful while Chamakh isn't great.

Careful - the same could be said for Taarabt who is a god at QPR, but could never really cut it in the Prem. Time will tell!

    Good youngsters? Like who?

Rafaeal I will give you but apart from that who? Wellbeck will probs come back. Cleverly isnt really pulling up many trees and he isnt that young.

Ramsey was doing it in the prem. He was one of arsenals first choice mid till he got injured. I doubt wilshere would have made the breakthrough of this year had ramsey been fit.

Berbatov wwas offered more to go to city.

They came for the trophies. I am not naieve enough to think they didnt also come for a pay rise, but it was strictly a money thing.

Wellbeck, Pogba, and Morrison spring too mind. Problem is there are many talented young players at Utd but so long as Gibson and even Scholes who lets face it should retire as his legendary days are gone, continue to play we will never know what these kids are capable of.

I was under the impression that it was uncertain whether Morrison would even make it as a footballer because of his attitude. Never seen Pogba before but I have seen Wellbeck and while he looks like he could become a good player I doubt he will be nearly as good as Giggs or Scholes

I know us having talented youngsters doesn't really fit in with your bleak world view Stretty (;)), but rest assured we do. It's silly to say otherwise just so you can be negative

difference is arsenals are good enough to get in their first team, ours apparently are not. With the midfilders we have being not so great you would think some of our oungsters would be getting a chance if they were gooid enough.

Who will though? Scholes and Giggs are 2 of the best players ever to play the game. Arsenal might never have a striker as good as Henry again, but it doesn't mean they won't have successful strikers <ok>

Stretty our manager don't take as many risks in this situation. Rafeal and Smalling and Hernandez will be class players. Can you dispute this? Pogba and Morrison have a chance but there is no need to throw them in now.

Well there is consideringg if they were good enough they would be getting games. Ramsey and fabregas were first teamers at 17, wilshere was at 18. Age doesnt matter so much, talent will always shine through. Pogba looks useful. But morrisson doesnt have the mental strength to make it imo, too much an idiot off the pitch.. More chance of him ending up in jail than becoming a regualr for us.

Our youngsters don't get into our first team because we have a lot of more experienced players in our team whereas All of Arsenal's side are young and less experienced.

The simple reason Arsenal are throwing youngsters in is because they are building a new side after there last unsuccessful one. We have been winning titles leagues cups for many years. You will see some changes like Hernandez coming in a bit more and Smalling and Rafeal. When Scholes retires the likes of Pogba and Morrison and Cleverly will come in. However, this is double standard, if we don't sign anyone big because we want to give younger players a role it will be because of "debt" and being skint. So what do Utd do? Ferguson will make the right decision in the end but I doubt we will see 50m signings and that can only be good for the club <ok>

Stertty Arsenal have not won anything for a while and could Utd fans hack a 5 year transition of maturing youth? I really don't think so. Young players will come in very slowly and not thrown into the squad. Pogba will get his chance and Scholes won't be here for ever. Ferguson even said he has a big role for cleverly.

There is no reason a two bob footballer like gibson should be in front of any talented youngster regardless of age or expereince. Even fletchers been dire this year. And carrick well is carrick, he is mundane.
