We could lose again on Tuesday, and we'll still be averaging over 2 points per game (something which has to be the target now). It's a blip away to team in-form, nothing more. It only becomes more if we now starting dropping points left, right and centre - but that is something which has never happened under Adkins. We follow up defeats with victories under Nige.

Yeah I had a feeling we would lose today; we never really got going. Well done Bristol City you have some good players which begs the question how are you so low down in the league. However, one game does not make a season so we move on today.

Sounded like a poor performance on the radio. I think we were overdue a defeat as we have enjoyed some great results even when we didn't perform too well as was the case with Peterborough. I hope it is just a blip but would have to say that I think West Ham will ultimately overtake us. we've done brilliant to build up the distance that exists and to remain at the top for so long is a remarkable acheivement for a team that was playing third tier football last season. I was surprised that Leicester didn't destroy Pompey today as I was actually anticipating them to go on a good run. As great as our team spirit is, I think Leicester and West Ham still have the better squads and believe that these teams will ultimately pip us to the automatic positions in May.

Today we were beaten by a better team who wanted the result more. Interestingly, the Bristol City win has heaped a lot of pressure on our friends down the road. They are only one point off the relegation zone at the moment - not a position you want with a rookie manager in charge and no money to improve your squad.

I've never got what Ipswich have against him. I don't think it's just a Jewell thing, because I'm sure they were looking to offload him even before Jewell was appointed. Personally, I rate Priskin. Not Premiership material granted, but decent at this level.

You look at the players that Ipswich offloaded under Keane such as Ambrose and others that have disappeared out of my mind currently!!

I have been out of the loop all day, did the Chaplow injury scupper the plans, sounds like we lost shape throughout.

Bristol played a 4-3-3 with the two supporting Maynard dropping back to make a 4-5-1. Saints struggled for width with Hammond, Cork and Schneiderlin all in the centre. Therefore we did not really create much and they stifled us in the final third whilst using the pace of Maynard and Adomah on the break.

Looks like the game is up West Ham 2-1 up.

Don't worry, we beat Hull and Boro beat the Hammers on Tuesday and it's back to a 5 point lead again.

We should have put him out of the game. Without him you had no real outlet, everything went to him.

    And so what?

I have to admit I had a bad feeling about this one. Still, we have a game on Tuesday to put things right. We always bounce back strongly after a disappointment, so I'm looking forward to the game. Sounded like we didn't use the width, which is disappointing, but hopefully we'll learn from that.

However, our blue friends down the road did well and us a favour by pegging Le'ster to one point.

I know we were bad. I know it is disappointing. I also know it is not the end of our promotion campaign.

    Two things really hurt me.

    1. So many supporters left as soon as the second goal went in. I know you might get home 30 minutes earlier, but you're here because you want to support our team. Stay, and sing your hearts out for the Saints.

    2. Why did some tw@t throw a plastic bottle at the pitch when they scored. You were only 10 yards from me, so don't deny it. It was an act of hooliganism the like of which we don't need or want. If it was up to me you would never attend another football match.

You were upset. So were 3,000 more of us, but we didn't throw bottles at the pitch.

    Child!

Grow up quick or don't come back. We don't need you. You're not fit to support our team.
