I'm not either of those things, I just didn't understand why some leapt to one of those conclusions so quickly apart from an eagerness to blame LR for everything. It appears from what ST has said that the LR has changed things camp might be right, but excuse me for waiting for something to base a conclusion on.

People didn't leap to those conclusions. Ive said the exact same thing ST has again said tonight a fair few times since the stoke game and it's not the first time ST has said it either, certain people just didn't want to believe it or thought it was rubbish.

will you be upset because the team is now doing what I was saying is what they have to do to be successful
Getting forward quicker and not messing about passing back and forth in our own half

1 - I never said the opposition doesn't effect how we play, I said the biggest factor is how we play. When we have over 60% possession and create next to nothing, the problem sits far more with us and what we're not doing with the ball.

2 - I've said multiple times I don't know whether the fault lies more with Rosenior or the players not doing what he wants them to.

3 - I'm not ignoring things you've said, I just don't agree with all of them. I posted some possession stats which in my opinion backed up my point that being more adventurous and risking some of the possession usually pays off in terms of goals scored and better results.

4 - Their defence is only deep when we play slowly, because they're set up by the time we work the ball there. Once we get possession, say from a tackle on the edge of our own box, their defenders aren't already stood in their box waiting for us, they're on or around the half way line. With quicker play we can get them on the back foot. It's what so many teams end up doing to us when we build up slowly because we've gradually added more and more players to the attack to compensate for how many they've got back.

5 - I've not said I don't like us passing it around at the back. It works well when there's pressure on us as the team have massively improved at not making mistakes in these moments. The problem is when we've comfortably got the ball and teams let us have it, there's often been no drive to make something happen and it takes us too long to work what ends up being not even a half chance.

This weekend I have watched the top teams in the Premier League on TV. They can all pass the ball at the back but every one of them uses it to get out of awkward situations and very quickly they all turn possession into attack with speed and directness.

Whille watching the Arsenal match it reminded me of the match at the Emirates in the FA Cup. I think it was a 1-1 draw.
Outside the ground an interviewer and a camera crew approached my mate and asked him about the game. He must have spent a couple of minutes giving a fantastic summary of the match and reasons for various events.
The interviewer said: "Sorry but the camera crew werent ready and didn't film it! Can you repeat what you said?"
My mate said: "No. I cant remember!"

It’s obvious that Rosenior has modified his tactics for us to play at a higher tempo and make riskier but more rewarding decisions even if we have lower possession stats, rather than the players all collectively deciding to finally start listening to him.

Don’t think that’s the case. StevenToast has said that Tan mediated a discussion between the players and coaching staff so that players could voice their opinions about the way we play. This was apparently after some players went to Tan with their frustrations that me, Howden and StevenToast all heard from people at the club.

I suppose it's possible that some at the club may have encouraged Rosenior to watch some Prem matches, instead of just re-runs of our own games, which may have helped him come to the same conclusion as yourself. I'm just pleased that he's such a quick learner.

Plenty of people patting themselves on the back but forgetting to mention how incredible it is that someone so stubborn, naive, and rigid, could completely turn it around in just a couple of games.

It's also way over the top to say we've turned it around. We've one our last one game. We've had plenty of good performances at previous times in the season and plenty of similar runs of form to the one we're on now. We're currently at the high point of the cycle because we had a good win and people are talking as if it's 5 wins in a row out of nowhere. There will be plenty more ups and downs ahead.

Agreed it was only one game but we played differently and it worked

Technically it's 3 games that have been 100x better than stoke, but hey ho we have to yet PLT come round slowly to the fact that whilst he seems to complain on certain threads about people not liking or embracing change, it's happened with us since Stoke and he just needs to accept it and congratulate the club, LR and the players for being big enough to do what's been done and it benefit everyone

    *Edit* 4 games
